About this deal
It is essential to consider the child’s personal preference as some may love being cosy while others prefer to sleep in a cooler environment. As needs be with children, all our pillows, duvets and mattress protectors are easy to wash in the machine and many can be put in a tumble dryer too.
Available in both single and cot bed sizes (we tested the latter), this duvet isn’t as puffy as other duvets, but it is still heavy and offers a snug drape. They’re often a lower-tog rating than adult duvets, as little ones aren’t as good at regulating their temperatures as grown-ups are. The filling is 80 per cent Smartfil polyester, which claims to offer the same thermal efficiency as down duvets but with finer fibres – the result is a lighter duvet. Despite it being a lightweight duvet, our child seemed snug underneath it once their body temperature warmed it up.The main factors that affect what tog your kid needs are the home’s internal temperature and external weather. It will keep them warm during the chilly months, and they’ll be able to sleep well throughout the night without waking up from the cold. Damage caused by non-domestic use, abuse, misuse, neglect, or by not being used and cared for in accordance with our instructions. Predominantly crafted from cotton, our selection also includes cot duvets that are made from cotton blends and those that are made from wool for a thicker option.
It’s freezing cold outside and as we struggle to warm the house up inside, many of us are investing in winter bedding. As your little one grows, why not decide on a duvet for their cot from our range of cot and cot bed duvets. While prints on duvets isn’t a standard feature, this one from The Fine Bedding Company is actually coverless. With well over a hundred years of parenting experience between us at Duvet Advisor, we’ve lost count of the tummy upsets and accidents which mean the washing machine’s going again at 2am.
