It reminds me off a lunch on a greek island, atleast thats were i feel like this would be the perfect fragrance. I used to love Allure Sport and thought it was the best fragrance on the market for years until I started noticing a difference in the smell and the fragrance itself not even lasting more than a couple of hours. when I literally need to spray a dozen times for me to smell anything and even then it doesn't last more than 2 hrs on me. For an EDT, it has exceptional longevity and performance; even better than Armani Code Parfum, which I tested on my other hand. The original Missoni fragrance is no longer produced but, in 2006, the brand began collaborating with Estée Lauder and a number of famous perfumers helped to create the new Missoni perfume range.

So the vetiver, lavender and vanilla are balanced in a way where neither in particular pops up, leading to an overall masculine leaning feel. If you take a moment to reflect on how relatively few "exceptional" spring/summer cheapies there are in existence today, this is certainly one to strongly consider having in your collection! I don't get any specific citrus in the opening, but a weird, brain-piercing note which I can best identify as dry, bitter, maybe slightly metallic, perhaps vaguely aromatic/herbaceous, kind of cheap fresh (as in balsamic) showergel smell.

Those differences can mean a lot to someone whos skin maybe didn't agree with a note or two in the other. It came off as almost a bit too sweet at first spray but when it dried down I got these SUPER nice fresh and breezy whiffs as I was walking around in the 90 degree heat at work. I was going into this expecting to be reminded heavily of Versace Pour Homme, but I really didn't get that.

Naturally I tried the next closest thing to it which was Versace Pour Homme, but that one also never seemed to have very good performance. Sooo than I tried it on my holidays, and it is definitely working better in those conditions but this is just not for me. g orange and lemon, dry down becomes really nicely balanced with sweetness giving it a lighter overall scent. It smells like Channel Allure Homme Sport and Versace Pour Homme combined, it has that amazing creaminess that Chanel Allure Homme Sport has.

I live in Eastern Europe where it's cold now, so I was like: maybe in warmer weather it will show a different side. First hour or so its projecting really good then it go closer to the skin but stays around 5-7 hours or more with lovely powdery/creamy drydown.

Nevertheless, it’s a very versatile, clean smelling and charismatic fragrance if worn appropriately. The polar opposite of the big 10 summer cologne classics I'm concentrating on - Rochas, Acqua di Parma, Eau Sauvage, and so on. The perfumes from this luxury brand are just as original and playful as the typical Missoni designs.
