It doesn’t always need to be a paramount, life changing decision, but then again, we don’t always realize when we are making one of those. I’ve always had a penchant for guys with pretty eyes and five o’clock shadows, and I thought Gabby did, too. Then when the storyline deviated I kind of spent the rest of the book trying to match each chapter with each other. I appreciated this aspect of the tale and it did give me a chance to reflect heavily on the decisions we make, as well as the possibility of living a very different life through a rather subtle choice. Even though they loved each other, after high school, life just took them in separate directions and they’d drifted apart.

This is also why I never go to the bathroom during movies, even though I always have to go to the bathroom during movies.A related moment that made me cringe, is when Hannah and Gabby lay in a bed together and just wish they weren’t straight so they could just simplify their lives and remove all men and just be together tee-hee! free will debate is hardly a new area for exploration, and yet Reid's take on it is refreshing and uplifting. I wish Sarah's character was a bit more elaborate and there was more connection with Hanah's parents.There are cringey moments in it, and even the sliding doors moment itself is a bit too big to really count.
