About this deal
The Logitech G535 features full wireless connectivity by way of a plug-and-play LIGHTSPEED USB receiver that provides an unwavering connection. Although the low-bass is very underemphasized and mixes lack thump and rumble, the mid and high-bass are overemphasized.
Just plug the dongle into a USB port on your computer, press the power button on the headset, and you’re all good to go. I've worn these headphones religiously during testing, and not once have I felt any discomfort whatsoever, with the memory foam earpads proving the utmost comfort during long sessions. Outside of that, though, the overall voice quality of the Logitech G535 is decent, if not overly impressive. While both headphones are lightweight and comfortable, the G535 are better-built, they have a longer-lasting continuous battery life, and their boom mic has better noise handling. The G535 deliver a solid level of sound quality performance with a nicely balanced neutral sound profile that represents all frequencies well. The passive noise isolation on the Logitech G535 Lightspeed is okay for the most part, but the lack of real padding and a more open housing means they don’t block out much in the way of lower-end frequencies. Logitech has opted for minimal controls on the rear of the left ear cup, where you’ll only find the power button and volume wheel.
One thing I should mention about my unboxing experience is the minor struggle I had locating the USB receiver that facilitates the headset’s wireless connection. My glasses tend to break the ear pad seal by creating gaps toward the front, but even without glasses on, I can easily hear sounds around me. As one of the lightest and most comfortable headsets available today, it can be worn for hours without fatigue. The rectangular-shaped ear cushions are large enough to fit most, but there are limitations to how much swivel action there is, and the headband height adjustment only has two modest settings.
