A lot of this content I already knew but it’s great to be reminded of and explained further in terms that are both engaging and easy to understand.I really enjoyed this book and liked that all of the references are available at the end if I want to have a deeper dive myself.

I wrote The Female Factor during a pandemic, several lockdowns and Covid shifts so to be able to finally hold a copy and celebrate with some of my close friends, family and colleagues was just so so special - and trust me when I say, I made the most of every moment. A friend recommended this to me after I had a little bit of a grumble about not getting support with a health concern.

There’s lots of sound practical advice about nutrition and healthy eating for different life stages as well, of course, as her popular recipes. She had previously thought that she would become an accountant like he was, but after completing her Leaving Cert at Dundalk Grammar School, she decided to do medicine.
