The emotional depth and authenticity with which MacKintosh portrays their struggles and triumphs make them relatable and endearing. Het leugenspel' is zeker wel leuk om gelezen te hebben, maar ik vind de losstaande verhalen van Clare Mackintosh toch wat beter dan deze serie. Ffion us back in this second book of a fabulous series, and has an incredibly memorable canine companion with her this time around.

I have read all of Clare Mackintosh’s previous novels and enjoyed them all tremendously so had great expectations but alas, they were not lived up to.
