About this deal
Micromesh is the ultimate in organic pest control and plant protection for fruit and vegetable crops. The technical term for this type of net is Raschel which is a type of warp knitting in which parallel monofilaments are looped together in a zigzig pattern along the length of the net.
The unique patented folding mechanism means that it can be neatly folded away and hung up when not in use, but then just as easily be sprung open to protect your plants. sq is small enough to keep out almost any insects such as cabbage root fly, carrot fly, white fly, onion fly, flea beetle, vine weevil, aphids, bees, wasps, cutworm and other caterpillars, moths and butterflies. Once you have seined the length of your water you can use our Dip Nets and Fish Cages to retrieve and hold your fish. The polymer is melted and forced through nozzles and cross strands then set at the joints as the material cools.Moisture and air can still filter through to your plants using the Micromesh leaving them healthy and well nourished. Easy Micromesh Tunnels™ protect your growing crops from all types of pest, from small aphids and carrot flies to larger pests like mice, rats and hungry chickens without the use of nasty chemical insecticides. V. stabilised, 90gsm mono-filament woven polyethylene to offer the best insect protection for plants. Protect against Black Fly, Whitefly, Aphids, Carrot Root fly, caterpillars, birds and other insects.
This also helps to reduce any snagging of the netting and makes it less fiddly and time-consuming to load onto the stuffing tube. A stuffing tube with detachable cap is also included within the pack to ensure you have everything you need.Helpful Haxnicks hint: there is no need to remove it when watering or giving liquid feed, just apply directly through the mesh.
The cap is a smooth and durable polypropylene in the shape of a cone and allows the netting to slide easily over it and onto the tube.
Pick off and discard any fruits with grey mould and protect the last of the harvest from slugs and snails.
