Working from a model in curated studio settings we will explore, through drawing in colour and varied combinations of media, the nuances of feeling visible behind the model's features and gestures. The drawings offer off-the-cuff imaginings, such as Philip Guston’s dashed-off self-portrait in the act of drawing himself, or a charmingly meandering ink drawing by Léonard Tsuguharu Foujita of his favorite subject—a cat.
