About this deal

The player was a 19" rack mountable twin player type capable of playing media formats ranging from normal audio CD/CD-R/CD-RW to digital data files in MP3- and AAC-formats written on DVD's as well as USB-connected memorysticks and/or portable hard drives. I was at a gig the other day where the smoke machine was going crazy and I could hardly see a damn thing from where I was spinning, finding CDs was great fun but anyway, the smoke coming over the top of the CDJs made the blue light around the platter form like a blue pillar of light that went about a foot into the air and looked wicked. The player implemented a large touch-sensitive platter with a digital display in the middle that could relay information about the position in the music.

The CDJ-1000 (and its reincarnations) became a popular tool for dance clubs and DJs, and is currently the most widely used DJ-style CD deck in nightclubs. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. The pitch control was +/- 10% only, and Master Tempo allowed the pitch to be locked despite tempo changes being made. Discussions and Topics related only with CD Players or CD Decks (even DJ CD/MP3 Decks are acceptable). If you want to play with some proggy stuff and try to keep it smooth with the 100s you're going to find you'll be riding the pitch like all the fucking time, and whatever you might say about "work for our money" what it comes down to is that a technological limitation is hampering your abilities.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Application: Simply remove the backing paper, position your graphics, rub down and remove the carrier tape. Therefore, the scratch was intended as an effect or for cueing a track, and was not appropriate for stopping the track by touch unlike other CDJ models.

If a loop was enabled at 02sec, for example, and leave it for 1 minute, this would then disengage the loop, jumping to 1:02 as if the user had never engaged the loop. Before this, DJs who wanted to test a new piece of music they might have made themselves in a studio, in either a club or as early promotional items to radio DJs, often had to rely on getting acetate discs produced. The Seamless Loop function allows you to start a loop in real-time the moment you start a song, as well as at the end of a song so the beat never stops. The CDJ-3000 introduced a larger 9" touchscreen, a rearranged interface with more hot cue buttons (but the same eight hot cues as available on the CDJ-2000NXS2), more loop and beat jump buttons, and an LCD screen in the middle of the jog wheel. CDJ-3000 supports FAT, FAT32, exFAT,and HFS+ file systems, but does not support NTFS or macOS GUID partitioning. They have a clean interface , a nice smooth pitch range with a locked master tempo , to keep the same key locked in as you mix to the next track. It also included the ability (unique in Pioneer's DJ product line) to cue from one media source and playback from another all on the same unit, allowing one to DJ two tracks from a single DMP-555 alone.
