This set has a terminal complete with control tower to spot all the activity, a beautiful red airplane which is really solidly made and which wheels along very smoothly preparing for take-off, plus a complete baggage handling system with two airport staff figures. As they play with the recognisable vehicles, destinations and accessories, the realistic roleplay helps them to make sense of the world around them. You all know we love trains in this house so the Brio Monorail Airport set is going to well used by all of us!
All BRIO World toys work with each other to create an entirely customisable world that’s fuelled by children’s imaginations and endless combinations of play. Since starting this review Monkey has now added parts of his normal wooden railway to the track and the Monorail wagons happily work on it with no issues at all.
