Once attached this molecule cross-links and polymerizes on the surface thus building a hydrophobic durable layer of protection. I love that it can be applied directly onto the paint, or on top of any other wax, sealant, or ceramic coating. I would actually like a product that doesn't make the water bead up but run off as if the car had no protection on it all.

Personally, if you take care of your car, to me, they're kind of a waste of money, but that's just my opinion).It is certainly hyped up to a degree, but I think it lacks the longevity of a good wax or paint sealant and should not be used by itself.

I polish my car when I get fed up with the swirls, give it a good wipe down and apply FK, Menzerna or Collinite LSP.As demonstrated by Obsessed Garage and The Rag Company, for this first application I applied liberally to a couple of panels at a time, spritzed a mf and wiped over. I think because it was pretty cold this morning it took a minute or two for the product to fully flash off and the slickness to show.I was expecting this amazing slickness that the hype has lead us to believe but I didn't find anything amazing initially. If the product isn't living up to the hype, then why do you think it's being over hyped in the first place.
