This really sounds as if they have used AI for sections of the book, or at least heavily edited the narrators performance to it’s detriment. The focus is on relationships between family, friends, and neighbors, the good and the bad, and the downright deadly. Detective Jane Rizzoli and Medical Examiner Maura Isles are working the murder of 52-year-old Sofia Suarez. All in all an entertaining mystery that I definitely recommend to anyone who is a fan of police procedurals or mysteries!

I was able to read from Angela’s perspective for the first time and if you know Angela, you know she’s going to be spending a considerable amount of time getting into someone’s business. Jane and Maura dig deep into solving a homicide and its connection to a random hit-and-run of a young girl who is being stalked. Most of the plot concerns Jane’s awful mother and her ghastly neighbours - gossipy women and creepy, preening and sexist men.
