Rose demands readers' attention with her meticulous writing style and precise attention to the smallest of seemingly unimportant details which often hold the key to solving the mystery.

While I found this book to be decent overall, I tend to hold thrillers to a higher standard, expecting jaw-dropping moments and compelling plot twists. I love the way she lets you get swept up in the story and she has an unusual but satisfying pacing style where there are bursts of action followed by a lot of "hang out" time with our characters.
