I cut about 10 inches off in a sweeping tail shape, front and back and sewed a new hem by hand, it only took about an hour. The sharks foam material had some severe creases from being folded in the package, but I found the lowest heat setting and minimal steam ironing removed them perfectly, I suggest test an area or off cut first!
