Columbia Records/ Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment, is abuzz with the announcement of a multi-format 30th-anniversary reissue of ALICE IN CHAINS' acclaimed "Jar Of Flies". Two different sounding albums but both demonstrated what a truly impressive band Alice in Chains were.

Fat White Family are back with the most sophisticated, vital and flamboyant creation of their career.Following an exhausting and transformative tour in support of the group's sophomore album "Dirt" (1992), "Jar Of Flies" offered the Seattle grunge icons a chance to record music in a more relaxed environment and intimate, acoustic style. Jar Of Flies was also nominated for two GRAMMY awards in 1995 – Best Recording Package and Best Hard Rock Performance for the track "I Stay Away".

It garnered the group two Grammy Award nominations for "Best Hard Rock Performance" ( "I Stay Away") and "Best Recording Package".I was under the impression that I was purchasing the coloured vinyl version,as this is the one advertised(yellow sticker,clearly states coloured vinyl),so was disappointed to receive the black vinyl version instead. One can’t really give a vinyl LP a true Facelift, and depending on how listeners treat their records, it’s usually dust they’re more concerned about than Dirt.
