About this deal

Below is a photo after a session of over 50 balls, and when the clubface is wiped clean, there are some subtle signs of softening in those contact areas. TractionFace grips the ball with 22 full face grooves for spin on longer shots and a diagonal micro mill pattern on the face for incredible spin around the green. In the end, Indi looks to create products that are fun for both the scratch players and the 30-cap choppers. Lastly, we're mad keen for people to try these, so in addition to pricing them super competitively, we're also offering 25% off for any purchases of two or more wedges. You won’t see 50% more spin as claimed when using trackman but you will see 50% or more backspin on the green if that makes sense.

For 2018, they released the same design but with tournament-legal grooves, with a promise that golfers would still see increased spin over other options on the market. The red paintfill portion in Stingray appears like they were shooting for Scott cherry bomb red, but they did not use enough paint and you can see silver through in some of the letters. Being that both head designs are identical but with a different groove structure, it shouldn’t be alarming that the numbers are similar in just about every facet, except for spin.It excels with hitting the low spinners from like 50yrds our as there is a lot of meat on the high toe of the club to really spin it with low flight. What I noticed right away about the Indi TT wedge is the “scoopback” tech along the back of the wedge. If you struggle with the flop or any tight shot where you have to get it high and land it soft, I can’t imagine a more apt wedge. Just about every recreational golfer wants more spin from their wedges, and the Indi Golf Stingray TT delivers just that.

Impact gets slightly louder when you miss the center, plus you get a clear feeling in your hands about where the ball met the face. When they initially launched the brand back in 2017, they did so with their StingRay wedge, which featured wider, deeper, and as you may have guessed, non-conforming grooves. However, my new favorite aspect of the TT wedge is that they chose a modest amount of logos and badging. The Stingray’s leading edge has a slight curve to it, and overall the face is a bit larger than average. With the clean look, impressive spin, and great feel, this is a wedge that works for a wide range of players. The stingray is made with Carbon steel and immediately I can tell the feel is really good and solid from the shots I hit on the range.

Those updates combine with groundbreaking features like TractionFace grooves, ScoopBack perimeter weighting, optimized hosel length, and the Colossal Sweet Spot give SR the “Biggest Bite in Golf. Both wedges have a very clean player profile and are offered in loft options from the 50 to the 60-degree wedge. Unlike other cavity back wedges that have come and gone, the StingRay TT still had that solid, bladed style feel to it.If you are a golfer who likes to pick the ball and sometimes doesn’t see the spin results you need, the FLX is a smart choice. just wanted to clarify, the paintfill is not looked to be done in this way intentionally, it looks uneven and shotty to be perfectly honest. The objective of Indi Golf is to bring products to the game that are superior in performance and increase players’ overall experience.
