The last “Ghostbusters”-anything I played was the PC game, which is totally awesome and worth picking up. Sadly from a visual standpoint the tiles just look kind of boring, packing all the character of a slightly damp marshmallow.

I kind of resisted doing tutorials for this game, keeping it as kind of a game that was just for me and playing, but my readers have spoken. That means your success is completely contingent on your ability to control what number you roll on that single 6-sided die. It turns out that the project has been in the works for some time, with Walsh originally hoping for it to be funded through another officially endorsed Kickstarter campaign.They also come with their own colored stream tokens so you can keep track of who contributed to capturing a ghost. I watched the movies a few times on TV, and even though I’d laugh and laugh, I realize now that I didn’t really know what was going on. Each Ghostbuster can perform two actions per turn; move (two spaces), attack, remove slime from a fellow Ghostbuster, drive the ecto-1 car six spaces, and deposit any trapped ghosts. Of course, with four Ghostbusters in action, you’re going to need some spectres to catch and, certainly at first glance, the game provides you with a veritable feast of enemies: 20 Galloping Ghouls, 12 Gruesome Twosomes, eight Boogaloo Manifestations, Slimer, Idulnas and the Stay Puft Marshmallow (which is extremely heavy and could most likely be used as a murder weapon). It's a shame, because I loved playing the game a couple of nights ago and look forward to playing it again.

As fun as the campaign is, I find the one-off games to be a bit more accessible due to how busy I can get.Mission three, and while Peter (red) drives ECTO-1 to the gate in the top left of the board, the others try to take care of the big giant ghost in the middle.
