About this deal

Tellingly, they come with a Power Sword Intercessor arm, and a little backpack icon, yet the Intercessor Sergeant has the standard "bolter strapped, pistol out and up, checking my forearm screen" build.

Haunted by their past, the Dark Angels and their successors – known collectively as the Unforgiven – wage a secret war for redemption, a millennia-long crusade of vengeance that will either lead to their final atonement… or eternal damnation. In this series we’re going to revisit the older Combat Patrols, breakdown their points, and talk about where to build from that box. If it has 2 of the new upgrade sprues and still cost the same as current combat patrols it's the same value as the current one, more or less. GW put out a Kroot Kill Team (above), and it sounds like they want to expand on that part of the line. At the same time I want to take something that’s a bit unconventional — plus I think the model looks a lot better than the Darkshroud.

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

I would have thrown in there 3 Outriders instead of the Hellblasters just to have units from all the wings, but it isn't bad.

But then, when ready, you can go back to them, add in some chunky and standard highlights and, if you’re feeling brave, get some fine and spot highlights in there for extra definition. Don’t forget you can carve-up this list as needed for any detachment requirements you might need to hit.
