This compilation was on my radar when it was first announced via the label's (Numero Group) Instagram account. Bound For Hell On The Sunset Strip is a compendium of either first attempts or unreleased recordings that were unavailable until now. The music presented in this anthology should be treated with reverence, despite the hedonistic slant, for it is a testimony to the personal sacrifice and resilience of all these people, who instead of taking the easy road of the security that a 9 to 5 job offers, dedicated a significant portion of their youth to the practice of Rock n' Roll with no promise of success.

The 'big name' on this one has to be Lizzy Borden with an early almost thrash sounding non-album number.
