About this deal

And yes, in case you were wondering, the minifigure is identical to the Batman from 76252 Batcave Shadow Box, which is pretty insane when you think about it. As such, I’ll neither give it a high (100% because its better than a CMF) or low grade (77% because its only an okay value compared to sets)… I’ll say this polybag has a good value and rate it at 88%. I’m still somewhat in shock that this is also the same minifigure as the one from the Batcave Shadowbox, but LEGO does need to be given credit for not gating an ultra-exclusive version of the 1992 Batman behind an expensive set that a vast majority of fans might not be able to afford. LEGO Batman fans no longer have to rely on leaked images from various sources, as we now have an official look at this new and exciting polybag. Otherwise the mold is the same and only the Bat logo differs from both ’89 versions to the ’92 version. Unsurprisingly, not much is included in the polybag apart from the new 1992 version of Batman and a small stone gargoyle build for him to stand on.

I am fairly certain it is the same Batman minfigure included with the soon to be available "Batbox" set (76252). LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Minifigure, and the Brick and Knob configurations are trademarks of the LEGO Group of Companies.

Superheroes sets alone tend to offer fewer than average characters, averaging around 195 bricks/fig. It’s small, but a really usable and practical build as it serves as a nice little display pedestal for Batman.Notable features about the minifigure include the slight changes that have been made to Batman’s torso, as well as the moulded cape-and-cowl combo that came with the 1989 sets. However, my ’89 Batmobile cape and cowl are definitely more matte looking than my ’89 Batwing and ’92 versions. It's a slightly different to the one found in the Batwing set but that's a good thing, making it exclusive to this set.

If you need some advice or if a product you're looking for isn't displayed on our site we may be able to help, so please get in touch! Even though build time is not really a thing with this polybag, you nonetheless get a small structure to assemble. Even though the differences between Batman 1992 and Batman 1989 as minifigs are minimal, I’m happy to have both without breaking the bank (again). The Polybag itself is a great way to get ahold of this particular Minifigure and the extremely sought-after moulded Cape piece. Both differ from the Batman minifigs coming in August, which look more like a standard Batman minifig with some ’89-esque printing. As of now, it is unclear whether LEGO plans to incorporate it into any future promotional offers related to the Batman license. With a small dedicated team of LEGO fans serving your needs, we're sure you wont find a better or more friendly service anywhere else online. The Gargoyle design is pretty clever, and it’s repurposed from the display stands from 76240 Batmobile Tumbler, 761390 1989 Batmobile and 76161 1989 Batwing. After the recent release of the huge LEGO D2C set of 76252 Batcave - Shadow Box, we now have one of the smallest LEGO DC sets of the year.
