About this deal

Setting the disc size selector and pressing the start button is all that is required to get one of these playing a record, which compared to some fully manual offerings is certainly attractive to the beginner or casual listener.

my question is – is there a way to connect my android pad into this set up so that I can choose to either play the turn table or the android pad without having to keep disconnecting and reconnecting the cables to/from the Turntable and Android Pad? Just remember that it’s going to take some learning if you are not familiar with recording software.

While we’d be grateful for a little more solidity and would still back the pricier Rega Planar 1 as the most practical starting point for anyone with a curiosity about vinyl, the Audio Technica AT-LP60-USB is an attractive entry-level deck. E a turntable of higher quality (though nothing esoteric), to see what effect it would have on the record. It is certainly a huge cut above the likes of Crosley, GPO, Ion and the many other suitcase-style and portable turntables on the market, most of which will do more harm than good. On this review you will find valuable and detailed information that would help you make a sound purchase decision. I own the AT-LP60 USB, but if I had known, I would have probably bought the AT-LP60 without USB and save some bucks.

Unlike a lot of budget turntables that sound thin and lack bass, the AT-LP60's overall sound quality, from bass to treble, was smoothly balanced. It functions exactly the same as the AT-LP60, except it also has the ability to connect to Bluetooth enabled devices when playing your records. Technicaly in direct phono out it would be striaght signal as the signal doesn't undergo any amplification but signal will need a Phono preamp to boost it up. My question to you is, seeing as the soundbar has bluetooth capabilities, would I be able to make a straight bluetooth connection between the AT-LP60 and the soundbar or would I need some sort of receiver or transmitter?Argos Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority as a credit broker (713206), and works exclusively with the lender, Home Retail Group Card Services Limited trading as Argos Card and Argos Financial Services, who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority to provide credit (716148). We also see a few more parts of the automatic mechanism as well as the arm’s lateral pivot bearing which is primitive but does the job. If you are unfamiliar with how to calibrate a turntable and you just want an automatic player that is super easy to operate, the Audio-Technica LP60 is right for you.

As you can see, there is more than one way to setup your turntable so that it can start playing music. With its built-in switchable phono preamp, the AT-LP60 may be connected directly to your computer, home stereo, powered speakers and other components that have no dedicated turntable input. Many people have their receivers connected to their TVs, Mobile players, gaming consoles, turntables and who knows what else.

Reassembly was a matter of carefully putting the parts back in place, lining up the base plate and knocking it back into place, after which the motor operates as it should. These consumers bought the product looking for an easy and fast solution to transfer their LPs to a digital format.
