She left Allure three years later as the Senior Beauty Editor, spent a few months at Refinery29 in the same title overseeing branded content, before finally landing back at BAZAAR to oversee all digital beauty content. After inking a deal with L'Oréal back in 2015, the designers took a roadtrip/vacation out west following a show. Arizona was one of the first testers I got and I really liked it--can't say I was blown away, but it was very very nice, and one spritz lasts all day. This isn't a philosophical question, but rather a technical one that designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, of Proenza Schouler, set out to solve for their very first fragrance. Got given a sample of Arizona but found the opening too sweet to put me off the whole thing, despite an interesting dry down.

I get a Root Beer ice cream float vibe from my sample mixed with an unusual note (the cactus flower I'm assuming) along with the makeup powder scent. Also, Givenchy's L'ange noir EDP int he powdery/makeup notes but a more summery/daytime fruity version.

Top notes are Mandarin Orange, Orange and Bergamot; middle notes are Cactus Flower, Solar Notes, Strawberry, Orange Blossom, Jasmine and Rose; base notes are Orris, Cashmeran, Musk and Vanilla. The comparison to Armani Sun di Gioia is justified in my opinion, as they both have that combo of sweetness, waxy iris and sunny beach scent.Arizona Bloom was the first Arizona Bloom was the first scent by Floral Street that I ever purchased. We brought that into the first meeting with L'Oréal and we said, 'How do we turn this into a bottle? Both notes are noticeable in a way that only La Chasse aux Papillons has mangaged to capture in anything I've smelled. I love woody scents, sandalwood and coconut combos are probably my favorite fragrance genre, but that isn't what Arizona is. the sweetness would probably draw in a more youthful crowd but they cleverly added floral to pull in other age groups.

Not a beast mode scent, especially in cooler temps, but I very much enjoy this scent in the desert summer heat. It really does have an opening of melting crayons, but it settles down into a very subtle skin scent.
