Description

There are several manual focus third-party options available and especially the Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster 35mm f/0. This isn’t something that affects day to day use, but is worth noting that it does seem to be normal behaviour. The build quality is solid, and I’ve never been disappointed with the quality of photos taken with it. Disclosure: this review is solely based on the real-world performance of this lens and will not be overly technical in nature. First, it reduces flare and ghosting, which can spoil shots, and second, it boosts colours and image sharpness.

You may have guessed, based on what I said above, but my personal opinion is that for the vast majority of you, the XF 35mm F2 R WR is the better choice. When people ask me if this lens produces sharp images, I always have this moment of hesitation before giving them the answer. The lens construction includes a metal barrel, Super EBC coating for improved optical performance, and it delivers improved center-to-edge resolution and brightness free from chromatic aberration. Despite all the constraints of optics, this lens has succeeded in harmonising the resolution, the blur, and the aberration, and is known for its unique 'look'. The autofocus speed was somewhat sluggish with a noisy autofocus motor and was plagued by aperture chatter.

lens was released in 2012, Fujifilm and other 3rd party manufacturers ( such as Viltrox and Sigma) have released a variety competitive lenses.

Featuring an all-glass aspherical lens and other elements, the lens is polished to perfection and treated with Super EBC coating while the high-quality metal barrel and precision-machined 1/3-step aperture ring gives versatile control. This lens is still insane and, if the 35mm focal length is something you can work with, you will love this lens. I decided to change from Pentax to change to a smaller package for travelling, city and steetshooting.it is not an inexpensive option but it will likely last you a lifetime and once you start editing your files you will see what I mean.

I’ve seen some criticism of this lens’s sharpness wide open, but I have yet to find much to complain about after using 50mm primes from other camera makers. Yes, I totally agree – haven’t taken mine off my XT3 either, and could quite happily shoot with nothing else from now on haha!No deposit is required and payments will be collected by direct debit in monthly instalments, the first instalment being collected 30 days after shipment of the product. This is a very personal choice not just for Fujifilm users but every photographer who loves travel and street photography. While it’s a little bigger than the f/2 version, it’s actually very light, making it a decent candidate for any Fuji X-Series body. The lighting was difficult because there were a lot of shadows, and some areas where it was bright from a sky window. I hope that this post was helpful in your decision regarding which lens to invest in and add to your kit.
