I will never forget when I was in the RAuxAF a humble Sgt and went to Hollyrood Palace to receive the Queens Medal from her Magasty, I was last and she stilled smiled and took time to chat. I will aspire to uphold your values and teach the next generation about your integrity, loyalty and leadership.
There aren’t enough words to express heartfelt thanks to Her Majesty for everything she did for her subjects and people all over the world. Now, after a great life spent to serve your country with dignity, grace and love, hope you can rest in peace, united to Prince Philip.
As we mourn the loss of our monarch we remember her dignity, kind Rest in peace your majesty, thank you for your for your service to our Country and your dedication to your people. Thank you for doing your duties with dedication, dignity and grace throughout your seven decades on the throne. It is hard to put into words how deeply sad and unsettling this is; the Queen was a hard working lady who steadfastly fulfilled her duties to this country to the end and her fondness for Scotland is reciprocated tenfold.
May you rest in peace and be able to see just how much you were loved as our queen, a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.Queen Elizabeth Your Majesty, you described your husband as your “strength and stay” but I hope, from the bottom of my heart, you can feel the enormity of strength and stay you’ve unwaveringly provided for your loyal subjects. My family and I send our heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family and to the people of the United Kingdom. At the heart of this is a family who have lost a loved one and that pain is the same whoever you are. This has only deepened during her many private as well as official visits here during the seven decades of her reign. I was born in the year of your coronation and you were there all my life as a figure of comfort and a beacon of hope in times of trouble and a beloved monarch and matriarch whose gentle spirit and dignity was an example to us all.Thank you for all you done for us over the past 70yrs you have been a wonderful queen who will be sadly missed but rest in peace now.
