About this deal

You can leave this spot treatment on, and you can put it under other skincare and sunscreen throughout the day.

This is a chemical formula that has six UV filters: Octocrylene, Avobenzone, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Ensulizole, Tinosorb S and Uvinul T 150. This is the highest concentration of azelaic acid (10%) that you can get OTC, and it's also the least expensive. It comes in a no-nonsense box with a prescription label, just like your normal pharmacy prescriptions.Although, I have to say that the silicone finish is very subtle – this doesn’t feel at all slippery or waxy. Cassandra wanted to love this product, but Ren is one of those “clean” skincare products that tend to be a little hit or miss. I also feel like I’m experiencing fewer breakouts, and any red marks I did have (from previous breakouts) seem to have disappeared. Very easy to manage your subscription but as someone with incredibly problematic skin (who last week got complimented by a stranger on it! If you know anything about me from my podcast or YouTube videos, you’ll know that I’m all about a hydrating mist to help my skincare layers absorb and with the Dermatica Azelaic 20% Cream I feel like I need a little spritz to smooth things along.

They also didn't provide me with a single soloution/treatment for my dark under eyes , so my main skin concern remained the same. On nights when I’m not using my personalised retinoid treatment, Dermatica’s azelaic acid cream has become my new best friend. Even though azelaic acid generally works with many skincare ingredients, once again, it balls up easily. I bought it for my mild rosacea to see if it would help, but I had to stop using it after 4 days because my face went extremely red, like a huge flush, which I don't normally have. You probably won’t need other acid exfoliants, the Azelaic should do a good enough job of keeping your skin turning over.I had developed melasma on my face due to sunburn, and after using Dermatica's product for 2 months, the melasma has vanished! It has a powder-like consistency, and likewise, if you put it into a liquid, it can become a bit crusty and crunchy.
