I also have to mention that the motor fitted to the Series 5 5018s is not as powerful as I would have liked. If you clean the razor with soap after every shave, then you should also lubricate it after every shave. The up and down swivel of the head that we’ve seen on all Braun models from the Series 5 and up was actually very useful in practice. Yes they give You close shave, but when battery drops below 95% the motor performance drops linear with every %. In that case, I think it’s well worth spending a bit more on a better shaver (more details in the next section).
