Disney Videos children's trailer from 1995 with clips of "Aladdin's Arabian Adventures", "Winnie the Pooh", "Disney's Sing-Along Songs with Disney's Sing-Along Songs: from Pocahontas - Colours of the Wind", "The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Early Adventures" and "Disney's Storybook Favourites (Coming to Video in 1996)". Though a variation to the original Alice in Wonderland plot you will certainly agree that this is a place like no place on earth. Alice, now 19 years old, follows a rabbit in a blue coat to a magical wonderland from her dreams where she is reunited with her friends who make her realise her true destiny.

Walt Disney Classics children's trailer from 1995 with clips of "Mary Poppins", "Alice in Wonderland", "Dumbo", "Robin Hood" and "The Sword in the Stone". Though simplistic (good conquers bad in the end as Alice defeats the Red queen) the combination of great acting and amazing special effects mean the simplicity really didn't matter. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. As the script includes a lot of pure nonsense and often it's not possible to predict what the conversation is about or the actual made-up terms are spelled, it is very difficult to follow without subtitles. Bob Crowley’s vivid sets and costumes take us down the rabbit hole into a colourful world full of curious creatures and captivating characters while Joby Talbot’s original score is full of sweeping melodies and contemporary sounds. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. When Alice (Charlotte Henry) steps through a mirror, she finds herself in an enchanted land where - among many other colourful characters and experiences - chess pieces come to life, a hookah-smoking caterpillar shows her how to change sizes by eating pieces of mushroom, a baby changes into a pig and a Cheshire Cat dissolves into thin air. I have always had a fascination with this Disney film, being a true blue Disney fan I consider it one of the great ones.

I feel that the Disney artists had a touch of what Wonderland is like and just had fun with this one. This film is one of the most mature and thoughtful of all Disney films, and manages to capture some of the dreamy, frightening, enchanting and nightmarish atmosphere of the books. In erms of plot the film begins with Alice having a crisis at the thought of being trapped in marriage and, whilst running away, falling down a rabbit hole into a whole new world of talking animals, food and drinks that change one's size and a Mad Hatter.Alice in Wonderland didn't have that effect at all, rather I was completely immersed from the first minute to the last, with the staging and characters feeling entirely real. Would have given 5 stars but was a little disappointed that the dvd arrived without the blue shine cover as shown on the pictures.
