Less parts to get lost, nice and simple to use, pretty tight and neat bends, lightweight, 2 piece allows for easy storage. The Monument Pipe Bender is supplied with replaceable 15mm (MON2601) and 22mm (MON2603) aluminium bending guides. As you can see, it's not the quickest and easiest to pull bends, but it is still my favourite bender.

Easy to pull a bend and great for lining up offsets and pass overs as the handles, guide and former are all in line. When installing plumbing or electrical conduit piping, you might need to bend a pipe around an obstacle.The build quality of these benders is great - you can feel it is a quality, well made tool when you pick it up. This set comes with two extension pieces that you just screw into the bottom of your 15 mm bender if needed. A lot less messing about getting the pipe in the guide and really easy to locate the pipe in the guide. It was also worth checking out a few on-line videos and investing in a length of 15mm pipe with which to practice in the tool's usage.

So light in the hand and with the long handled version that I bought it is very easy to pull a bend and match it up to the pre marked angles on the guide. They pull nice tight bends and they are small and lightweight so can be carried in a small tool bag. It takes a bit of getting used to like all new tools but once you get it they're as easy to use as the old benders. Bending of copper pipe ensures unrestricted flow of water and can also create attractive, crafted finishes on installations.

My one I've found has been a little bit temperamental on the threads, so maybe it's just a little bit of manufacturing swarf or something so try on this one. These pipe benders can accurately bend soft copper pipe, aluminium, soft steel and brass pipe up to 180°.Small and easy to carry, gave a nice size bend with no crimping, so much easier to judge by eye that you have the right bend you need. All bend markings are in a good place, and the fact that your bending arm is in the same plane as your pipe, it makes it so much easier to get your sets completely straight and even. It is well documented that soldered fittings and compression fittings interrupt the flow of water around a heating system. The aluminium formers are marked with bending angles of 30 45- and 90-degree offsets allowing for accurate bending.
