Milk chocolate. I love Callebeut chocolate, but if I’m honest, I also use any supermarket brand milk chocolate. You’ll need 400g milk chocolate for the traybake and 200g for the topping. If I’m on a budget, I buy the 30p bars from the supermarket – I’ve never had a problem with them. This Maltesers Cake is absolute Maltesers heaven! It's got two layers of chocolate malt sponge, then it's filled with Maltesers Spread and a malt buttercream that tastes exactly like the inside of a Malteser!! On top are plenty of Maltesers of course, and if you're a Maltesers fan I know you're going to love this cake! Ingredient Tips & Equipment Information

Melt the chocolate, butter and golden syrup together in a large heavy bottomed saucepan over a low heat. Place one cake on a plate and spread over half the icing. Sandwich with the other cake and spread (or pipe) the remaining icing on top, using the tip of a rounded palette knife to create a swirled effect from the centre to the edge of the cake. Arrange the Maltesers over the top and dust with icing sugar before serving. Not to mention a complete covering of chocolate malt balls. Not only do they add taste and crunch but they look absolutely fantastic! And it means you can decorate a four layer cake in just minutes #winwin In a separate mixing bowl, add buttermilk, vegetable oil, vanilla and eggs. Whisk together. Boil the kettle and pour out 1 cup of hot water. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Start to fold together, slowly pour in the hot water, and continue to mix until all the ingredients are incorporated. Top tip! If the icing is too soft, pop in the fridge for an hour OR add a little more icing sugar. If too solid, add a tiny bit more boiling water. The cake has been so popular because it’s essentially a traybake form of my chocolate fudge cake, and who doesn’t love a traybake cake for a party?!Think about those chocolate traybake cakes you can buy from the supermarket (which are epic), and then multiply the epic-ness by 100. Malteser traybake cake Digestive Biscuits - crushed into small pieces. Swap for ginger nuts or Rich Tea if you prefer. The easiest way to crush the digestives is to bash them with a rolling pin in a sealed freezer bag Just like my mint Aero traybake, it doesn’t last five minutes in my house. It’s just as well it takes less than 10 minutes to make!

Three: Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the crushed biscuits and Maltesers and stir to combine. OMFG. Chocolate flavoured Pavlova with a gorgeous Malteser Top thanks to Good to Know! 4. Smashed Malteser Tiramisu Grab the recipe here! So, I have had what feels like an INSANE amount of requests for this recipe. Like, I have genuinely lost count! I have always said so far to multiply up my Malteser Cupcakesrecipe, which would also work, but I wanted to make this a whole new level of delicious.Imagine a biscuit. Now make it crunchier and a little bit more fancy. You’ve reached biscotti. Now add Maltesers and Baileys. You’ve reached heaven. This elegant Chocolate Bailey’s Malteser Cakerecipe is a dessert fir for a queen. It’s almost too pretty to eat! If you’re looking for something to make that’ll impress your guests with the look and the taste, then this is it. 17. Malteser Chocolate Cookie Tart Grab the recipe here! leaandjay.wordpress.com

Top tip! Make sure that you butter your tins REALLY well. I also line the sides of the tins with baking paper for this cake as the cakes are quite delicate. I also think (maybe?) it makes the edges a bit neater as they are being served naked. No desperate need though if you’re short on time. I used a mix of sugars for the sponge. You can use all caster sugar or all light brown soft sugar if you prefer. The premise of the bake is essentially the exact same, but just better. I went for a Malt Chocolate sponge, and a Malt Buttercream Frosting because it just tastes sooo good along with the Malteser, and I can’t get enough.

Remove the Malteser slice from the fridge and pour over the melted chocolate. Decorate the top with crushed Maltesers. Rich, flavourful, and addictive no-bake treat! 15. Malteser Chocolate Cake Grab the recipe here! via sainsburysmagazine.co.uk I love an indulgent no-bake chocolate fridge cake, and this easy Malteser tiffin is right up there with the best of them! Add the melted butter, chocolate and syrup mixture to a bowl, followed by the digestives and Maltesers (leave a few aside to decorate the top). Mix together well.

Pour the Malteser studded mixture into the lined tin. Smooth out with a rubber spatula and place in the fridge to firm up for one hour. Maltesers, obviously! I have it on good authority that Maltesers are known as “ Whoppers” in America.Oh yeah baby! This little gem from Taste has been going around the net lately – and I can see why.
