One spray gives me an experience similar to the time I accidentally added too much cardamom essential oil to a candle I was making. So first tip here would be to try a very small amount directly on your skin, NOT on paper, because its opening is a punch in the teeth. It actually smells like a spicy Carnal Flower without the musk and the vegetal undertone, and for my nose (and wallet) I prefer L’Elephant.

The mother had a well-chosen collection of perfume on display in both bathrooms (not best practice for perfume storage, but that's another story). I wish I knew someone who loves it, because I will just put it apart for the whole life - not my thing all these spices and smells. If used wisely, it is very suitable for the summer, as someone below said, it's more exotic than Christmassy.Spicy, tart, fruity, sweet - I think it's the cardamom that makes it feel so edible, that and the vanilla. Also, there are no discernible notes of cinnamon or ginger which would qualify this concoction as christmasy or chai-ish. The bottle is lovely and I'm still wondering if there's anyone out there who can actually pull this off.

It truly is spicy, especially at the beginning the spices may even seem harsh, I would say the cardamon and cumin are very noticeable. I know, both perfumes are green, but somehow this nutty feeling, the spices and the lightness of Green Jade make the whole composition just incredibly suitable to this "almost Advent weather", when it is gloomy chilly outside, just about to snow. Jungle l’Elephant used to strike me as a “Christmas candle” scent with an ultra-heavy ambroxan base gluing it down instead of grounding it.

It's one of the best milky scents on the market, - love it, cardamom, cinnamon, pepper - all boiling in hot milk with a hint of amber and lemon! I'd been putting off trying this bc I was worried it might be too in-your-face, overwhelming, and suffocating, but after finally taking the plunge, I'm so happy I got this. When I first got it I was very disappointed and thought that it was far too acidic and the spices too dry and shy.

I absolutely love it, but am treading carefully when applying especially when I will be in confined spaces. I can spray this in the morning, and come evening, it’s still there, softer and closer to be sure, but still commanding a presence. It is like home in those weeks just before Christmas while everything smells like cookies and spice. But then autumn arrived, the temperature dropped, my throat got a little scratchy and I was craving something warm and uplifting. Cardamom is a favorite note and cumin reminds me of childhood (mom's cooking), so perhaps I'm more inclined to like it.

I don’t perceive it as particularly christmassy or wintery, probably because there’s no cinnamon, which is the main holiday spice imo. Will make u memorable, if it is ur signature scent everyone you ever meet will think of you when smelling this even after decades of last seeing you.
