Algo que me incómodo en la historia fue el hecho de que a Rudy le gustara Sylphy se me hizó bien raro que a un tipo que tiene mentalidad de más de 30 años con cuerpo de 6 años le gustara una NIÑAAAAA. I think what makes this so much fun is that it never takes itself seriously. Even when dealing with the wish fulfillment issues (because let's face it, how many of us have wished we could become someone else?) the book tends to never quite take itself seriously. It's all written in a fairly light hearted manner that helps us take any of the bigger issues with a grain of salt, which also helped me be more sympathetic with our lead character.

I'm not going to sit here and try to convince people who won't like this series to start it. There is a LOT of turn offs for the western audience in this series. (Which from my understanding will get toned down as the series progresses.) If you're an anime watcher you already know what you're in for as this series was considered one of the best that has come out fairly recently.

Bagi Rudeus sendiri sosok Roxy memiliki arti yang besar bagi dirinya. Hal tersebut dikarenakan sosok Roxy-lah yang pada akhirnya mampu menghilangkan rasa trauma yang dimiliki Rudeus. Trauma tersebut tidak lepas dari pengalaman buruk yang ia alami di kehidupan sebelumnya yakni berupa bullying dan penghinaan berat yang membuatnya menjadi seorang neet dan tidak mau lagi keluar dari rumah. Namun, Roxy mampu memutus rantai trauma tersebut dengan mampu mengajak Rudeus keluar rumah untuk pertama kalinya. Now as for any negatives, I only have one and thats how the adults don’t treat Rudy like a kid, we all know he is mentally 35 but the characters don’t. So when his father talks about how he chased women, from Rudy’s dad perspective he is telling this stuff to a 6 year old child and thats kind of messed up even if we know mentally Rudy is an adult. Still this was a minor thing. There are more issues specifically with Rudy’s dad that are problematic, but avoiding any spoilers.
