Description

The latest version of this intuitive drone lets you go directly to experienced drone pilot… without the awkward learning curve. Auto take-off and land: Ordinarily, getting a drone up in the air or getting it to land safely can be harder than getting up on a rainy Monday morning. Too much or too little power and it can end in disaster. But, with the Motion Drone, it’s a breeze. Simply press the button on the side of the remote and up it goes. Press it again and watch it land without a hitch. Headless mode: Headless mode is a great feature, particularly for new pilots, which makes flying even easier. Now you don’t need to worry about which way the drone is facing and trying to figure out the correct command to give it. Simply put, if you want the drone to go to the left, tilt your hand left and that’s the way it will go, regardless of which way the drone is actually facing. Plus, headless mode gives you the opportunity to perform amazing 360° flips with ease. Simply push up the trigger on the side and watch in awe as the drone works its magic. If your command has worked, the drone lights should no longer flash and you should have heard a satisfying beep! You've just synced! The RED 5 is an entry-level drone but still, it comes with many great features that make it an ideal drone. In this drone, you get the following features. Motion Controlled

A new way to fly: Gone is the complicated remote and in comes a computer mouse styled gadget that works with the motion of your hand. Move your hand left and the drone flies to the left. Tilt your hand forwards and the drone flies forward. In no time at all you’ll have on-lookers thinking you’ve been flying for years, or inherited some serious Jedi skills! Let’s face it, there haven’t been any properly-recorded UFO crashes in history, so they must be pretty easy to fly. That, or they're full of awesome technology that helps keep them in the air! We’re not sure, because we’ve never asked an alien. But, we can confirm that this Earth-made RED5 Motion Control UFO is both easy to fly and loaded with out-of-this-world tech! The Motion Control Drone is so incredibly easy to use, that we actually struggled to crash it! So if you are all about the newest technology, then this innovative flyer is a perfect gift from you to you. Or to someone else if you’re feeling especially kind. The first thing you need to do is sync the drone with the controller (we're assuming you know how to put batteries in, right?). This can differ from drone to drone, but it's normally the following procedure: Menkind Super Tip No. 4: The drone doesn't have to be up in the air flying to adjust the trim. As long as the controller is still connected to the drone (synced) then you can adjust the trim settings. This is really handy to know if the drone needs a lot of trimming. Simply land the drone, make your adjustments, then take off again to see if it's more stable. Rinse and repeat until you are happy you have the control.RED 5 Drone comes with the hand-held gesture controller which you will need to control your RED 5. You can use the hand gestures to control the direction of your drone and fly it. Overall, Motion Gestures are great for the entry-level drone. Headless Mode Menkind Super Tip No. 5: Practise, practise, practise your take off and hover. Just keep doing it. It may not sound like the most exciting flying, but once you've mastered this you are already halfway to being a pro. Drone flying is all about being in control. If your drone battery charges via USB then make sure you are using the cable and charger provided. We can't stress enough how important this is! Also, rechargeable batteries work best if they are charged regularly. If you have left your drone for quite a while without use then a) why would you do that? and b) it might mean that it loses its ability to charge fully. The solution is a good one though: play with your drone as much as possible!

Auto take-off and land: Getting the drone up in the air or getting it to land safely might seem easy, until you try it and then reality hits. Too much or too little power and it can end in disaster. With the Motion Drone it’s a breeze. Simply press the button on the side of the remote and up it goes. Press it again and watch it land without a hitch. Blades not spinning? You might not believe this, but one of the most common reasons for a rotor not spinning is trapped hair! If you have a family pet (or just a particularly hairy family member!) you might find that over time hair can become trapped around the motor, which prevents it from spinning. Most blades pop off very easily so it's a super easy problem to fix. Some drones come with little u-wrenches to help pop them off. If you have just replaced your blades, be careful you haven't put your brand spanking new ones on too firmly, as this can stop the motors spinning freely (or even at all). Try raising them slightly up their spindes as this could give more room to rotate. Headless mode: Headless mode is a great feature, particularly for new pilots, which makes flying even easier. Now you don’t need to worry about which way the drone is facing and trying to figure out the correct command to give it. Simply put, if you want the drone to go to the left, tilt your hand left and that’s the way it will go, regardless of which way the drone is actually facing.Plus, headless mode gives you the opportunity to perform amazing 360° flips with ease. Simply push up the trigger on the side and watch in awe as the drone works its magic. The RED 5 drone also comes with the 360 Degree Stunt feature which you can use to show off your drone. It works well and you can easily pull it off using the gestures. Battery LifeAltitude hold: The Motion Drone has a nifty feature where it automatically holds its height for you. That means you can focus on flying it where you want it to go without the worry of going too high and out of range, or too low and hitting the floor! A new way to fly: Don’t worry about a complicated remote. This computer mouse styled controller works with the motion of your hand. Move your hand left and the drone flies to the left. Tilt your hand forwards and the drone flies forward. In no time at all you’ll have on-lookers thinking you’ve been flying for years… or inherited some serious Jedi skills! Basically, the Motion Control UFO is a drone (or quadcopter, if you’re cool) that is shaped like a flying saucer. Reports indicate (correctly) that it also has flashing LED lights, bringing some extra-terrestrial awesomeness to your night flying.

Controlling this UFO drone is super-easy, even if flying drones is alien to you. It uses a controller that senses your hand motions, letting them control the drone. And, so that it stays stable in the sky, it has 6-axis gyro control and ‘headless mode’, which means that any side of the drone can work as the nose, relative to where you are standing (so forward on the remote is always forward for the drone). Trimming is a critical part of flying a drone so always read your instructions to find out where the controls are to do this! Whether you want to take awesome videos from a birds-eye view or aerial shots that have people questioning in awe at how you’ve taken them, we’ve got a bunch of RC drones with cameras for all your photography and videography needs. RC drones with a camera allow you to take the most impressive shots without needing a Hollywood movie budget, so you can get the best footage from above without hassle or breaking the bank. Create vlogs, music videos, movies or trailers with our camera remote control drones. Motion control drones RED 5 comes with the headless mode which means you can move it any direction during flying it. However, it is the only flying mode in RED 5. 360 Degree Stunt RED 5 drone comes with the 280 mAh Li-Po battery which takes around 30 minutes to fully recharge. It offers the flying time of 5-8 minutes which is not bad for an entry-level drone. The remote requires the 3 x AAA Batteries which you will need to buy separately. Red 5 Drone Review – ConclusionWise man once say, "to fly a drone, you must hover before you can fly." It's probably going to take you a few attempts just to get the drone off the ground, but these next tips should help.
