Unless Sigmar hung around to Karl Franz' soul for thousands of years, there's no way it's him. This happened before Sigmar became a fully fledged god (when he grabbed his hammer). This happened before the Mortal Realms were a thing.

However what I'm saying is this: the fodder is still the same. Skaven in WHF = skaven in AoS (except for new units that do have powerups, i'm talking clanrats, stormvermin, rattling guns, etc.). Greatswords in WHF = greatsword in AoS. A bloodletter in WHF = a bloodletter in AoS. Chaos warriors in WHF = chaos warriors in AoS. And sigmarines, the equivalent of chaos warriors, are no match for grail knights who can kill them by the dozen. Once per turn you can issue a command without a command point being spent, a power I feel we’ll be seeing more and more as this new edition expands the volume of commands being used, but the real reason you’re taking a Lord-Imperatant is to allow your Stormcast with less than 4 wounds deploying via Scions of the Storm to deploy within 7” of your opponent, rather than 9”. Given the volume of ways you can buff Stormcast charge ranges (hi Gavriel!), you’re given a real incentive to use that power now; formerly you’d see a lot of Stormcast foot slogging across the board, because the alternative was often to drop down from the heavens, fail your charge, and stare awkwardly at the rampaging hordes that got to charge you instead.Single cast wizards are rarely anything to write home about, and she’s no exception here. Thanks to Blaze of the Heavens , predatory endless spells can’t pass across or finish a move within 3” of this unit, which is neat until you remember some of the more horrific spells (such as Warp Lightning Vortex) aren’t predatory endless spells, and there’s also no restriction on a predatory endless spell being set up within 3” of her. We’re also yet to learn if not moving a spell counts as moving it 0”, which is actually important to understand in both major Games Workshop game systems. One of the most foremost mysteries of Age of Sigmar in my mind at least is: who was the Celestant-Prime? To answer this we should start with what we know. Some of what we know is fairly obvious; he was likely a great champion of Sigmar in life and has enough of Sigmar's trust to wield his titular hammer. But to know more we must now explore what is written within the lore.

Allegiance Ability: Storm of Annihilation –If a unit destroys an enemy unit, it gets reroll 1s for the rest of the battle. This is good, especially if you make a hard push early on. B+ cheth: Well yes, WHF Chaos Warriors. I think/suspect that AoS Chaos Warriors are meant to be a bit more powerful than their Old World predecessors (since the overall scale/power level in AoS is higher), and Stormcast are on par with them by design. They're also Space Marine level if you take Mordhau's word for it. Our second to last hero of Dominion is the Knight-Arcanum , who has clearly recently returned from a stint cosplaying as a Harlequin from Warhammer 40,000 and forgotten to remove her mask. I would say that the Celestant-Prime is slightly above a vanquisher, and the sub-goblins Celestant-lord. The Celestant-Prime is basically an incarnation of Sigmar's power, and one of the strongest of his verse. (Yet would still lose to Gotrek ;))Who the Celestant-Prime was in a previous life is unknown. All we know for sure is that he was one of mankind’s greatest champions, a great king and warrior from a darkening age. When this champion was taken by Sigmar and forged into the first Stormcast Eternal, he remained incomplete. Without Ghal Maraz he would not awake even with all the power Sigmar infused into the Celestant-Prime. After the Stormcast Eternal legions were set loose upon the Mortal Realms, they searched for Ghal Maraz. When it was eventually found and reunited with Sigmar, The Celestant-Prime arose with thunder so powerful it rolled across all the realms. Ever since then the Celestant-Prime has wielded Ghal Maraz. Command Trait: Dauntless Hunters –After setup but before the battle begins, all units wholly within 12″ of your General can move 6″. Scout rules are useful just make sure to put them some place secure, especially if your opponent might be able to first turn charge them. B+ Farstriders ( Almeric Eagle-Eye • Elias Swiftblade • Sanson Farstrider) • Ironsoul's Condemnors ( Brodus Blightbane • Gwynne Ironsoul • Tavian of Sarnassus) • Steelheart's Champions ( Angharad Brightshield • Obryn • Severin Steelheart) • Storm of Celestus ( Aphus • Drakan Celestus • Mellisan Star-Sighted • Sleek) • Stormsire's Cursebreakers ( Ammis Dawnguard • Averon Stormsire • Rastus) • Xandire's Truthseekers ( Calthia Xandire • Dhoraz Giant-Fell • Luxa Stormrider • Taros)
