They found the cord to be of reasonable length, although if you have a larger garden you may want to use an extension as well. A rear roller on a mower of this weight (12.5 kg) is not going to be as effective at striping the lawn as a heavier petrol mower or dedicated lawn roller. It does work, but will not last for days on end. The HYM3800E spins at a fast 3700 rpm under no load — faster than a standard petrol mower, so the resulting cut is that much cleaner. Though the sound production at the motor, 96 decibels, is around what you would have with a petrol mower. It took me a while to work out, but you can pin the handles behind the height adjustment lever to hold the handles in place when stored vertically. You notice the benefits of a solid top on your grass collection when the grass is dry and dusty. Dust and debris tend to get thrown up into the operator’s face with all cloth collection bags, so having a solid top prevents this but still allows it to be folded flat. Quality

The Rotak 32 lawnmower is quite powerful and user-friendly and is ideal for small and medium sized gardens of up to 150m². This was my first test of a Hyundai electric corded lawn mower, and I was keen to see if it lived up to the high quality and performance of its petrol cousins. At the moment I am so impressed with Hyundai as they are such good value for money. And the width of the roller is a few centimetres shorter than the blade width, so you may need to overlap cut areas by half if you want a neat striping effect. The brand of product you buy can vary in importance, from person to person. Some people will of course be much more particular about the brands they will use. Whilst others aren’t interested in the brand and are more interested in the overall quality or price of the product itself. Thankfully Bosch is a brand that many customers have grown to love over the years and is very popular for items in the Lawnmowers category. This is naturally helped by the mower being lightweight and the larger than normal handle Hyundai provide for this purpose.

The quality of the plastic and components is better than what you would expect from an electric mower at this price point.
