Description

Well, last month the device start not working very well. First of all, the lights were flashing a little crazy, and then, the device stopped warming. There is a storage (not authorized from Pax) that fix these stuffs here, but in my case, they said that the resistence coil is failed and I might have to change. For guys like me who are skeptical at first (and might feel robbed), those advises really do work, and I saw you saying this yourself : The PAX 2 is the new and improved version of the hot-selling PAX vaporizer by Pax Labs, which sold way over half a million units. The PAX 1 was considered by many as the best small portable vaporizer on the market for dry herbs, so we are very excited to see what the PAX 2 has to offer. Let’s take a look at the specs of the PAX 2 below.

question : i want to stop smoking cigaretes and replace them with vape / herbs … in my free time and also in work , but im finding it hard to decide which vape to buy …. im now between the PAX 2 / Alfa Goboof / Summit Vapium … the last 2 are only good regarding the price …but PAX 2 sems to be overall the best even after considering the price … can you give me a hint mate ? The grind consistency that everyone is used to from a common 4-piece grinder will work with most vaporizers, but if you really want maximum performance you need to grind your herb even finer than that. It would be great if you could review the automizer attachments that have been coming out for the last few years. From what I am reading the quality has been improving. Seems like no one is reviewing them at your level of comparisons and objectivity. The PAX 2 has 4 pre-set temperature settings. Ploom does not disclose the temperature of each setting, but their customer service team did provide a range: from 360- 420° F ,or 182- 215° C. Without constant up-keep the oven screen will be near impossible to easily pop out and it will retain the baked on residue. So, for a unit in this price range, we would have liked it to be much lower maintenance, similar to the Zeus Arc S Hub which features a removable vapor pathway. It doesn’t sound like a common problem, if the material is being heated the vapor should be going somewhere, are you any closer now to figuring out what the issue is?

I bought a Pax2 based on your review, as this is my first vaporizer. I was quite surprised at how hard it is draw off of the flat mouthpiece (the sipper) and how hot the other mouthpiece gets. It is extremely uncomfortable to use, even at the first draw. I also find that even though I am not drawing hard, a full chamber cannot give 10 pulls with good vapor. The first few must be sips as the vapor is so full and then you have to pull hard at the end to get any. And as it takes so long for the oven to cool down, the material really cooks out. Better than a flame, but perhaps I should have chosen a non-portable vape? The PAX 2 works best with a very fine grind, and we find the best way to achieve that is with a two-piece grinder. If you’d rather use your four-piece grinder, you can turn the top two tiers upside down to give your herbs more time between the teeth. That being said, I switched from 8 a day to one or two smoking sessions a day. I [feel more effects], for longer and feel more satisfied than before. I also use WAY less herb. Boost Mode was made for anyone wanting more vapour while at the temperature setting that they prefer. This is different with the new model, it takes a little longer to charge now but the battery lasts longer. You know, the more I use the new PAX the more I’m diggin it, and I was actually thinking last night that if my Crafty was dead this one would be my next choice to grab and take with me. it’s always best to start low and work your way up, so put it on level 1 heat first and then bump it up to level 2 after 5 draws so you can see the difference — I rarely, if ever, go above level 2, but it’s all personal preference! The stunning new PAX 2 features a streamlined design with up to 30% higher battery capacity, a deeper oven chamber that heats evenly for optimal vapor, and it is 25% smaller and 10% lighter than the original PAX 1 vaporizer. The PAX 2 is tiny, and still has an oven which is 91% the size of the PAX 1. The fact that it is 30% smaller and 25% lighter than the original, is really impressive and the PAX 2 fits really nicely in your hand when vaping.

To answer your question, all 3 of those vapes produce excellent quality vapor, they’re the best of the best. Just think about balloon vaping versus how you vape with the Mighty, it’s a slightly different experience. The heating chamber or ‘oven’ of the PAX 2 is located at the bottom of the unit, closed off by a magnetic lid just like the Utillian 722. Just press an outer edge of the lid and it will pop off. Invert the unit and load the oven.

You pretty much know your herb is totally spent when it’s a darkened brownish color and it smells like burnt popcorn. The metal screen that comes with the pax should have a slight bend to it. I found that by increasing this bend a bit to give the oven hole more air space helped my vapor output considerably The moutpiece works fine for me because I soak it in soapy water and seasalt while I’m cleaning the rest of it and I also lubricate it well.) Finally the material looks all “burnt”, brown colour, after the system heats once. Is that normal or is the material done? That was more than 2 questions I think ha You’ll notice that the “screen” is not really a screen at all, it’s more of a stainless steel plate with grooves around the edges. These grooves are where the air flows through to the mouthpiece, so when they get a little gunked up with residue it can make it a little harder to pull from.

different heat settings with lip and motion sensing technology that optimizes power and temperature during use Boost Mode impacts the quartet of default temperature settings this device has, and you can also use the app to create and apply a custom fifth setting. I haven’t heard of the magicvaporizers store and I don’t have any experience with them so unfortunately I can’t comment accurately on their service I’m sorry! Did anyone else notice similar issues with their Pax 2 as far as the odor/smell? Any suggestions on how to mitigate it? Please do let me know what they tell you about the warranty terms, because I have experience with VapoShop and they’re a really good company that takes care of their customers, I’m sure the fact that they’re not completely authorized is just a technicality. To turn the PAX 2 on, simply press the center of the mouthpiece one time. The LED lights, or ‘petals’ as Ploom refers to them as, will begin to pulse purple to indicate the unit is heating up. If I get the PAX from “vaposhop” I’ll not have the 10 year warranty, but 1 year (?) warranty and repair in Europe… and if I get the PAX from “magicvaporizers” I’ll have the original 10 y.w. and repair in USA..? How do I know when the tobacco is fully burned. It’s not like other burns, it’s sort of brown, how do you really know. Is it just when there is no more vapor or is there a certain color or quality that you look for? Party Mode: This is the mode that is on when I vape my PAX 2. As I vape the LEDs switch between colors
