Grab the next Bounty Notice for shadow wind golem. Talk to the guy in the red shirt to buy WHETSTONE and BRAVE POTION CAPACITY if you can afford it. Equip Whetstone in the Equipment tab. Talk to Raul to complete the quest for wolf fur. Exit to the south of this city and you will find the 10 healing grass you need. Talk to Bo near the center of town to complete the quest. Talk to Lars near by to get a new quest (6 gourd roots). Movingswiftly on to the audio. Cheesy, horribly acted and memorable for all the wrong reasons. The script is dreadful and is full of failed humour and a wooden delivery. Every time the action stopped, andit cuts to one of thesescenes,my heart sank. If it wasn’t so badlypresented,I’m sure the intended jokes would have amused me, but it failed miserably. On the plus side, Ienjoyedthe music. The folksy tunes had a classic RPG feel to them, and the beat and tone matched the situation you found yourself in. This was the best element of thegame.Sadly, it had little competition to gain this accolade.

The gameplay itself wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t for Beast Quest‘s abysmal controls. The input lag in this game is astonishingly bad, making every single action, be it on the overworld or during combat, feel even more difficult as you never know when your character will wake up and realize you told him to do something. The overworld jumping mechanics are, by far, the worst offender, with your character taking ages to lift his feet off the guard. And when he does so, you’re greeted with one of the worst jumping physics I’ve seen in a modern game, something that reminded me of the early days of polygonal platforming. Your jumping is so floaty that you can literally perform a 360 ollie in midair before touching the ground. When a game centres all its attention around its 4 beasts and an evil Wizard, you are right to expect some epic fights. Don’t get your hopes up!Repetitionis the tonic that Torus Games rely upon. Sadly, this isn’t the cure for what ails this title. Well, surely its shining light is the many side quests you undertake? It is if you like; collecting flowers, wolf skins, pieces of paper and many other (*sarcastic tone*)“ dangerous tasks” like these, then you’ll be in your element. But seriously, everyone knows that the secondary missions are a mere distraction, unfortunately these are so weak in design that it’s a painful experience taking them on. A wooden shield against flames, I don’t fancy my chances. When you reach a cross roads of sorts you will also find a campfire. Move down the path that isn't on fire, grab the many keys on the way (including a gold) and you will reach a room with a familiar face. This Boss fight you may need to use a health potion. There will be a QTE when the dragons health is low , , and . With incredibly linear and sometimes confusing levels, painfully tedious combat and bland, dated-looking visual design, Beast Quest is a crushing disappointment when you consider the rich source of inspiration that the famous book series supplies. Speaking of the books, this game was only ever going to appeal to those who have love for the kingdom of Avantia, and it's a real shame that after such a long wait for a video game adaptation of the series, those same dedicated fans have to endure this unflattering and lifeless adaptation. Put aside your affection for Adam Blade's novels and just play one of the many other amazing RPGs on Switch instead. Tactical Mind 2 (Drageus Games, 15th Nov) - Enjoy the classic brain-teasing challenges offered by Chess but with entirely new rules and concepts to discover. Tactical Mind is one of the most innovative 1vs1 board games and you can now play the sequel – with 30 stages, enhanced visuals and brand new layouts to twist your perceptions! Face a real player in local multiplayer or dominate the AI in a progression-based Single Player campaign.GROOVE COASTER WAI WAI PARTY!!!! (TAITO, 14th Nov) - Rhythm Game x Roller Coaster! Ride a roller coaster of sound with simple controls, and get grooving in this exhilarating rhythm game!

To do so he must free four beasts from the wizard’s power. This is a much smaller number than is featured in the extensive book series. Plus, the game takes a much lighter tone to the action. However it is an enjoyable retelling of the story. Both for those familiar with the books series or entirely new to the franchise. Beast Quest Walkthrough Guide The plot of Beast Quest mirrors that of the first four books in the series, with the player – cast as the hero of the series, Tom – looking to free the kingdom of Avantia’s legendary beasts from the curse they’ve been placed under by the dark wizard Malvel. Aiding him in his quest is companion Elenna and good wizard Aduro, who's often used for comic relief. If you're wondering how this epic literary fantasy translates into the realm of interactive entertainment, then wonder no longer; it turns out that Beast Quest (the game) looks almost like a Zelda title at first glance, but it doesn’t take long for the façade to drop.

DLC / Add-On Content

WRC 8 FIA World Rally Championship - WRC 8 - Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione (1992) (Bigben Interactive) Scarlett Mysteries: Cursed Child (Artifex Mundi, 14th Nov) - Look for clues to the whereabouts of your father! As the protagonist tries to locate her missing father, a clue leads her to the train station next to Baronet Steameyer's mansion and factory. Use your psychic abilities! Scarlett possesses a remarkable gift that enables her to see where her father resided and travelled in the past. Chests are dotted around the environment and are colour-coded, needing specific keys to be opened. Key locations can be seen on the far-too-small section of map that’s shown on-screen as the player explores and are just floating within the game world – though the number of keys you have of each type is hidden away in a pause menu. Generally, all that can be found in chests are coins, though you'll occasionally come across side quest items in chests, too.
