The history is well built and even if the features of the characters are a little forced, the plot is exciting and surprising. When I saw that TM Logan had released another book (currently only in the UK), I knew that I needed a chance to read this new title. I quickly became totally engrossed in this story that tackles the never-ending issue of sexual harassment of employees in the workplace by an influential superior. If you want to know the basis of the book just read the synopsis because all is said there, there’s no freaking mystery of what you should expect and after you read the first chapter you’ll know the name Sarah will give. When she finally (162 pages in) does what we knew she would do the whole book, we then get to see her whine about having done it and act like a guilty toddler.

This was such a tense, engrossing and captivating story filled with twists and turns that truly played with your morals and sense of right and wrong.I do avoid this type of subject matter usually, because it makes me feel so uncomfortable but I think the author does a fantastic job of putting us in Sarah's shoes, allowing us to feel her total helplessness to defend herself, to fight off what she knows is going to happen, to feel that total darkness is going to engulf her and there is nothing she can do. Exciting, thrilling, totally engrossing this fast paced, twisty turny thriller is guaranteed to keep your attention and I absolutely LOVED the ending, my eyes felt like they were holding their breath and didn't want to blink! Her serial predator of a boss has made it increasingly clear he is all powerful in his position at the university in which he and Sarah both work.

Big Light Productions will be taking One Name to MIPCOM for pre-sales, with Spotnitz also speaking at the market as part of the Producers’ Hub. Sarah’s character lacked the depth needed for someone who was wrestling morally with such life changing decisions.And I’m not talking fiction-fantasy land, I’m talking there’s just NO WAY anyone would be this chill after getting picked up, thrown into the back of a car, and be like “sure, I trust you” afterwards.
