It's affected by humidity but not nearly to the degree people say. The glide actually doesn't change with humidity as far as I can tell (it just rained and is very hot here where I live edit- currently 90% humidity lmao). However, my hand does drag against the pad to a noticeably greater degree than the GP4.

I think it’s a strong positive for gamers that play a lot of slower shooters such as CSGO and Valorant. It definitely makes the mousepad feel more versatile and consistent regardless of the context of the game you’re playing. In some cases, it leaves bumps and dents in the fabric. Sometimes, it’s easy to smoothen it out and other times, it’s not. The Fnatic Dash mousepad was one that smoothened out pretty easily, so I was hopeful for this one too.

Games

To make it simple, I'm going to compare it to the Xtrfy GP4 (my main for the past two months), which is more or less universally considered a great mousepad. Sadly I don't have my Zero soft anymore but relatively speaking the zero is a bit faster than the GP4 but not all that dissimilar. The surface of the mousepad is made of micro-woven cloth. There’s a Steelseries logo in the bottom left corner that is minimalistic enough to stay out of sight – pretty much. However, you may need to consider alternatives if you mostly play fast-paced shooters that require faster mouse movements. First impressions are everything, and this one made a not-so-good first impression. I understand why manufacturers often have to roll up mousepads – especially the bigger ones – but I don’t like what it does to the product inside. I found this rang true. After upgrading from a cheap, unbranded mouse pad, it was an amazing experience being able to use a mat that was designed specifically for gaming. There was no drag at all and no matter what mouse I was using, as I test quite a few for my job, they always slid right across my desk with ease.

SteelSeries heavy mousemats are designed using durable micro-woven cloth and come in a variety of sizes from medium, large to XXL. Why SteelSeries heavy mouse pads are the best in the game The pad sadly itself isn’t finished with stitched edges, which gives it a less premium look than its stitched counterparts, and the edges have started fraying a little bit, though it’s definitely nothing too bad. The base of the mat is made from non-slip rubber to prevent the mat from moving around your desk no matter what size you have. This was also amazing to use after using a cheap pad that was constantly shifting around my desk, especially in clutch moments. Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands) may take longer to reach you.
