For bigger screws on DIY jobs, you might want something with a little more power and torque; but if you need something that feels and works more like a manual screwdriver, this is the one to buy. This isn’t a heavy-duty tool, but it still delivers 5 Nm of torque and a nippy 360 rpm. It’s got more than enough power to drive all sorts of screws around the house or garden. But you’re not buying this to replace a full-size driver anyway. It’s the right size to keep in a kitchen drawer for when you need it.

Unlike the convertible electric screwdrivers on my list, you can’t get as much pressure behind this driver. The “gun” shape screwdrivers allow you to apply a lot more force.
