Produced with an array of botanicals from Italy, including lemon, liquorice, damask rose, and essential oils, the result is a delightfully delicate expression with thankfully no petrol notes to be found. This certainly ought to turn some heads, and will be a fab choice for anyone who likes a tinker in the garage, followed by a refreshing G&T when it's time for a pit stop... Probably best to keep the gin can in the house though, not the garage, to avoid any mix-ups y'know? Aroma: Crisp sage, citron rind, and terpey juniper. Sage and citrus evoke hints of green apple and lavender leaves. These interestingly savory qualities made it a great choice for what I might call a “clean” Dirty Martini, one that had the green, briny notes that would usually be imparted by a couple of olives, only in a clean and more subtle form here. Those same savory notes also proved effective in a Gin & Tonic. I found it to almost be a martini right out of the can. Seemed like a sweet vermouth was already in the mix. Engine is a craft organic gin, produced in small batches with vacuum distillation and using 100% Italian botanicals.
