I find that Burberry Touch lasts at least 7-8 hours...one of the best longevities of any Burberry fragrance on my skin. And really, the more I wear this, the more I like it. I bought a vintage bottle of this fragrance and wow, this is strong! The initial spray is almost like a cross between the soft sweet red pepper you get in a can of sweetcorn and a properly hot red chilli, sliced and smelt freshly cut. It's slightly sweet, but hot too. There's something bitter and green, maybe the oakmoss but here it's not soapy, just dry. There's then indistinct woodiness and florals for me. I would not have pinned the woods on cedar. The florals are watery and a light, there's also some powdery fruitiness but in my vintage fragrance it's indistinct, it could be peach. As it dries, the pepper calms down massively and it gets softer and more gently woody and lightly floral. Touch was certainly not a love at first sniff, but I missed it to the point of adding it to my wardrobe. It is reserved and calming after the invigorating opening. The sillage is moderate to skin scent at the end of the day, with excellent longevity. Not one to be over-applied. Could be a year-round fragrance, but I see it geared towards autumn/winter, with its cozy dry woody notes. Versatile enough for any occasion. The middle or heart note is blended with peach, lily-of-the-valley, jasmine, and berry. Tuberose, peony, and lily are also present in the heart note. The base note comprises green almond, oakmoss, cedar, vanilla, and tonka bean. So until Burberry gets it together...I'm attempting to replicate the smell of this cologne with other violet-based and vanilla-based long-lasting and wide-projecting colognes.This is one of Burberry’s most innovative and improvised creations. After a lot of mixes and blends, this Burberry range was formulated. The fragrance is so immaculate that it took the Burberry House to a revolutionary change. Oh my sweet violet-baby powder heavenly scent...if only you lasted longer and could stay with me 8-10 hours. My wife says she absolutely loves the scent though. Like she seriously swooned when she smelt it. So I guess that's a big bonus.

On the other hand, the men’s Burberry touch perfume is stronger on the nose. This Burberry perfume was created to be worn all throughout the day. The Burberry Touch Women is more ideal to be worn during the day time. The Burberry Touch Women’s perfume is exclusively created for the elegant city girls. It is widely famous among the ladies of the world. The aroma carries a soft, light, and sweet combination of fragrances. The dry down on this is nice, this wears well - and this is the reason why I am exploring this perfume further. This was amazing with my chemistry, I got that magical lift where this was doing something magical with the mixture of my skin and the chemistry. This has stayed on with fairly good silage for five hours. This is the type of perfume that just gets better the longer this wears. This ends with that little special something that is magical with my chemistry. This is definitely worth exploring more. This has potential as a day time natural earthy every day perfume that could be worn in most circumstances without being over bearing or over done. It doesn't ever feel like it's projecting, but again, my wife says she can smell it from a few feet away for the first hour or so. But I do get good longevity on it. But I still think it sits pretty close to the skin. Burberry Touch EDT is OK, a very light, ozonic violet leaf, white musk, spicy white pepper, sweet tonka, and woody cedar fragrance.These are different, but there are some similarities. Roma has a more forward citrus & mint to the spicy opening and dries down richer & with a more traditional amber, while Burberry Touch has the red pepper and a more forward green floral quality with a lighter overall vibe. That being said, there are enough similarities in the overall vibe that Burberry Touch could be a tweaked Eau Fraiche version of Roma. Roma outperforms.

I wanted to wear Touch to a friend's dinner party, but I just couldn't. I zealously applied it to my skin when I got home and was met with a pungent lemongrass odor. Like many people, I think Touch resembles baby powder, but the lemongrass took me by surprise because it's not listed as one of the notes. Lemongrass is often used in Asian cooking, so I don't usually have a problem with it. I think the issue here is my skin. I bought Touch without first spraying it on my body. I know it's a silly mistake, but I'm still a newbie at this. I will probably make a few blunders every now and then. One of the most intimate scents out there. Very warm and welcoming. I imagine if this scent was personified, it would be someone with a pretty face, hypnotic puppy eyes, and a broody persona which indicates a dark past. Like I said, contradictory. The scent is very inviting but very mysterious at the same time!

I'm agreeing with the unisex vibe some previous reviewers mentioned. i have this polyester dress i wear everyday i got from the thrift store, & if i forget to put on deodorant. It will start to perspire w the last owners underarm smell. It smells like a eucalyptus type of smell or maybe a sharp peppery menthol un-nutered cat pee smell to this on my skin. I washed it off immediately. & waited till later, that night-tried again. Totally not understanding why this one isn't discontinued. But better smelling purfumes are? How is this something anyone would want to wear out. Without someone thinking a cat sprayed them SUMMER SPICE. Opens with a peppery burst of red-pepper, fruits & rose oil, that deepens into a fruity-floral heart that leans to white-floral, resting on a floral support base of cedar & oakmoss. The overall effect in the first stages here is a green floral, with some spiciness and some sweetness. As it dries down, the pepperiness fades a little, while the dustiness of oakmoss is more evident, followed by the vanillic sweetening of almond-tonka bringing near-cherry tones that enhances the red-berry aspect. This has good projection for the first 3-4 hours, after which it becomes a skin scent for a few more hours, perfect for a light summer wearing experience. While some spicy scents can evoke the holidays, this one has a decidedly summertime feel.

Burberry Touch Men’s top notes comprises of artemisia, mandarin orange, and violet leaf. The middle or heart notes consist of an interesting blend of nutmeg, cedar, and white pepper. The main accords followed next are musky, woody, and aquatic. In the Burberry Touch Women’s Eau De Parfum the top 3 main accords felt are an interesting combination. They feature fruity, woody, and floral. Bond No 9 Wall Street EDP is a moderate projection, ozonic cucumber, citrus, green, and aquatic fragrance. This is not my type and I won't buy a bottle of it but each time I use my decant,I enjoy how complex and at the same time well put together it is.it's not a girly or an overly feminine scent.not a floral fruity or a vanilla scent.it's in it's own league and can be even a signature for one who feels it's for her.it lingers on my skin for +6 hours.sillage never passes moderate Not the performance I'm looking for and definitely don't want people getting THAT close to figure out what I'm wearing.Victoria Secret Very Sexy Platinum for Him is OK, very common, a fresh woody, mossy, ozonic, violet leaf, and spicy fragrance. Bentley Momentum EDT is a good but faint, slightly sweet, sandalwood, tonka, ozonic violet leaf, aquatic, musky cashmere wood, and spicy fragrance. The opening reminds me a little bit of Dune by Dior, I think its the woody mossy notes mixed with the white florals and the red pepper, this is also a very well blended scent in that I cannot, aside from the woody/mossy notes, single out any specific notes. The overall feeling is a warm, comforting scent which feels like being sat by a roaring fire after having a shower with citrus shower gel, wearing clean pyjamas and being wrapped in a soft, cosy blanket that was kept in a cedar blanket box. The combination of Jasmine and Cedar was something that I was unfamiliar with until taking the time to find that I really liked what happens in the dry down phase. The first perfume that I found this combo in was Beauty by Calvin Klein. That perfume is ok in the opening when it is first sprayed, but the real magic happens when this moves into the dry down - or is activated by the heat of the day, in the spring/summer, or when working out/walking/exercising. This is probably the same thing that happened with this perfume, the dry down chemistry really blends well with my own chemistry. Amazingly well - in the final phases of wear. Verdict: Burberry Touch is quite the fragrance! I think it’s one of those that, if you are relatively new to collecting, does a great job of challenging your definition of a men’s fragrance. For that I can only say that I do not consider this to be safe blind buy. To tell you the truth, I have a love- hate relationship with Burberry Touch. I mean it’s very floral! Some days I wear this and I feel like a grandma. Other times I feel differently- like I’m wearing something for a cultured European. I mentioned Prada and Dior earlier. I don’t think you have to like those to like this. Those scents lean more clean (soapy) whereas this one leans more green. I’d recommend wearing this in cooler weather and rainy days. I love the bottle, like the dry down and have to be in the mood for the opening.
