I too believe that in those countries it should be possible to resume the construction, but that is the answer I have never been given. When it comes to the really deep-dive stuff, I think it might be that we have to develop some system where people express their interest before we move forward with making it. I don’t want anyone to be in a position of having to put money down, but show some commitment to those models. As I said, I can’t make any promises on success, but I can promise you that I will do my best to make something happen. Whether my best will be enough, I can’t say, but I will certainly try. If you’re going to do something that is really niche, or an unusual thing like a studio-scale model; something that you know is a real collector product. What I don’t think people should do is use it as a substitute for normal business, when there are other ways to gauge consumer interest without getting into the crowdfunding thing at all.

Numerous companies still manufacture watches with similar specification with both quartz and mechanical movements. Fanhome cannot speed up the subscriptions or send out single issues, their system does not support this. It may be easier to tell you what I know has NOT been made. We hadn’t started work on the Protostar from Star Trek: Prodigy, or on the new Stargazer from Star Trek: Picard Season 2. Those each would have been ‘next on the list’ for us to begin, and I would like to think that somebody can be found who would want to make those ships.a production issue with part 91A with shipment 24…. The right hand door has been produced with the wing mirror attached. Since August, you have been thousands to reply us through a dedicated Google Form and allow us to collect all the necessary information about your collection(s) Paramount, for example, can’t talk about things at all yet, because they still have a contract with Eaglemoss, even though the company is effectively on a life support machine with no hope of recovery, I’m afraid. There are limits to what people can do until all of that is resolved — but there are still lots of reasons to be optimistic about each of the individual projects. If you like you can skip to the next post now, which is a brief look at issue 1, the American Infantry Watch, or read on for why I’m doing this thread. On a smaller secondary scale printed in white, Hours indicated with roman numerals with triangles at 12-3-6-9.

The Enterprise D is awaiting finalization of inventories and is in Notify Me status, expected to start taking subscriptions by Jan 31st. Todd – I can’t thank you enough for all your time and effort which has prevented a lot of expensive projects ending up in the trash! Whilst ‘others’ washed their hands of it you kept the community informed and gave us all hope which has now been rewarded – as long as Fanhome stay in business!

UPDATE December 28, 2022: I spoke with Fanhome and should receive information to share on this development in the new year. One of the original 1950s Rolex MilSub watches, even in a very well used condition, can sell for tens of thousands of pounds. Fakes are easily obtained, but these days not so easily spotted, and many can fool even an experienced buyer.

blue painted dial with white printed minute scale at outer edge. Hours indicated with embossed green hour markers, a triangle at 12, rectangles at 3-6-9, circles at other marks. All marks have good luminous effect.I have tried everything I can to get Bac Compton, Fanhome or DeAgoistini to answer my question, but nobody gives me an answer. I think Star Trek’s in a really good place in the moment. I have yet to meet someone who told me they really didn’t like Strange New Worlds. It’s core Star Trek, of a kind I don’t think we’ve actually seen probably since 1968. I think even the third season of the Original Series didn’t quite deliver core Star Trek in the way that Strange New Worlds has. was the final issue to be shipped to me, not sure if that was their official final issue before they closed their doors or if others got stages beyond 106. A few weeks later I signed up to a watch forum and found a few likeminded UK based watch enthusiast who where also interested in the Eaglemoss MWC, we started chatting and because of the fortnights gap between watches the topic of conversation started to drift to other types of affordable watches, and beyond, way-way beyond. we started a bit of a mutual interest thread that went off topic more than it stayed on. took the words from me. this mess has been hard to navigate in without any light. Thank you for helping us out with the updates Marvelphx, I cant wait to get this haunted nightmare over.

That said, there are things that are more niche and obscure where I think crowdfunding is appropriate — like for a limited run of a special publication or something. I had an idea to do a book based upon Syd Dutton’s Star Trek matte paintings, which were heavily photographed before they went up for auction last year. Personally I have no problem waiting as long as it takes, I would just like to know if I will be able to finish my build at some point. It was so frustrating seeing all those people who are understandably stressing and feeling depressed and worried about how much they’d invested in something and not having any hope — and I can promise you that Paramount are also determined to find a good outcome for this. They were completely blindsided by this. They knew no more than any of you.And this is the Lemania that would have been more likely issued during the early post WW2 period, note the single pusher for the chronograph. Ben Robinson ( @BenCSRobinson) tweeted a few nuggets of information today regarding both our partworks and the Starship Collections: This is an Asian made homage to another Omega watch, the Planet Ocean, it has similar Baguette hour markers and the distinctive Omega style curved case.
