This works best if the melted chocolate is in a small bowl as you can get more of the biscuit dipped. Find a bowl which will rest over the pan without touching the water, and add the chocolate, golden syrup and cream.

Rich and creamy and silky. Pipe in 6-inch lengths of dough into the oil, snipping off with a scissor. Only cook 3 to 4 per batch. In this Chocolate Dip recipe, we’re gently heating the milk and most of the chocolate together, which makes the milk easy to incorporate into the chocolate in a smooth and luxurious dip. Method

Break the chocolate into pieces and put them in a microwavable bowl. Melt them in short bursts in a microwave. If you don't have a microwave, put the chocolate in a heatproof bowl and put it over a pan of simmering water (a double boiler), stirring it until it melts. Heavy whipping cream – Heavy cream is typically found in the same place as coffee creamers in the grocery store and is less liquid than milk. It also gives a nice rich flavor that is perfect for a special occasion. Baking Powder: To help the dough stay light and crispy, you’ll need two teaspoons of baking powder. Chocolate Dip really is the party dip to serve at any occasion. Here are a few ideas for serving this yummy sweet treat: Put the flour , sugar, yeast and ¾tsp salt in the bowl of a food mixer. Beat on a low speed until combined, then gradually add the egg , followed by the milk and butter. Increase the speed to medium and beat for 10 mins to make a glossy, elastic ball of dough. Remove, place in an oiled bowl, cover and leave to rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.

Take out the golden syrup, and you've got the perfect chocolate cream for this amazing Chocolate Roulade. Fold the whipped cream to the chocolate mixture, and stir until fully incorporated. You can use the mixer on a low speed, or just fold in by hand.

Step #1: Just pop your bowl full of oh-so-yummy ingredients in the microwave for about a minute and a half on high. (The exact time can vary a little, depending on how powerful your microwave is.)

That’s a great question, Julie! My guess would be that it should work just fine – and, in fact, various milks like coconut milk and oat milk might lend some lovely little flavor notes to the final chocolate dip. However, I haven’t fully tested it with nondairy milks (which can vary widely in their ingredient lists, and therefore might have surprising ramifications for their ability to smoothly combine with the chocolate) so I can’t 100% guarantee how different milks might perform. If you do give some a try, I’d be keen to hear how it goes! Lastly, garnish the healthy fruit dip with mini chocolate chips or shavings, chill, and serve!
