Description

Perfume: This is the extract or extrait of a fragrance and represents the scent in its purest form. This often creates a smooth and round texture, which is hard to achieve with the dilution represented in the other concentrations of fragrance. Wild Rose Eau de Parfum has a comforting feel, whilst the incredible projection adds a bold statement. An instant mood booster, within one spritz, a wave of sweetness rushes over you, but all you niche fragrance fans, don’t worry - Coach Wild Rose is an expert complex with layers of sweet nuances, florals and heat settling on the skin to take you on a sensory journey. Here at Escentual, even those who don’t usually gravitate towards rose scents have been captivated by the rich floral gourmand - Wild Rose is the rose scent for those who don’t like a rose. Fruity, floral with a burning earthy base, Wild Rose is an innovative new spin on the classic rose. The Eau de Parfum opens with tart redcurrants and zesty bergamot for a sweet, sparking quality that lifts the florals for a deliciously addictive scent. Coach Wild Rose is brightened and uplifted by the heart of jammy rose and opulent jasmine before taking a sensual turn as the base deepens, leaving behind a cosy heat. Heightened by woody crystal moss, the Eau de Parfum has rich and green earthy tones that perfectly complement the white florals and ambery heat of ambroxan for a long-lasting scent. I have to wonder about the fragrance itself. I would like to smell an actual wild rose scent or I wouldn't have started reading this announcement. Then I saw the red currants and Sanja's description, a sour fruity note. Just what I want to smell when I breathe in a fragrance for the first time....a sour fruity note. Why would Coach do that to a wild rose fragrance, I asked? Then I remembered Coach hasn't been much of a leader since the late 1990's when they stopped making heavy leather handbags that lasted forever and started making glitzy purses that did not. Then they started making perfumes too. Coach is going for the under 25-year-old market, not teaching the world about how great wild roses smell, and apparently they still think you have to add fruity notes to every perfume for it to sell.

Top notes are Redcurrant, Bergamot. Heart notes are Wild Rose Accord, Jasmine Sambac. Base notes are Ambroxan, Crystal Moss. Inspired by the Coach prairie floral prints, the bottle features an exclusive charm and gold detailing as a nod to the craftsmanship of Coach handbags. The beautiful burgundy bottle is a must-have for your collection. Coach Wild Rose captures the free-spirited attitude of Coach. Bold and sensual, it evokes the untamed beauty of fields of wildflowers and a feeling of possibility, says Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers. The Coach Wild Rose bottle features an ombr burgundy gradient inspired by romantic summer afternoons and a matching burgundy hangtag a symbol of lasting quality and craftsmanship. As another reviewer noticed, Coach didn't bother to use actual wild roses, probably because they're not sold commercially. But certainly they could at least have photoshopped some into their ad.

But guess what... within a year it had become my easiest dumb reach uplifting carefree travel perfume. Now recently my husband bought me a bottle of the 2016 original Coach The Fragrance edP which I hadn't really paid attention to before, and again, it's currently also fast turning into one of my dumb reach frags.Product Ingredients: Alcohol Denat. (Sd Alcohol 39-C), Parfum (Fragrance), Aqua (Water), Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Limonene, Benzyl Salicylate, Hydroxycitronellal, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Citronellol, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Linalool, Citral, Coumarin, Geraniol, Benzyl Alcohol, Bht

It's a noble goal, introducing the "natural beauty of the colorful wildflowers of the American prairies" to the world. Specifically wild roses, in this case. But the presentation is all wrong. Eau de Toilette (EDT): EDT’s are not as highly concentrated in oils and elixirs as an EDP or Perfume would be and contain one to three per cent of fragrance oils. This impacts the ability of the fragrance to last and around eighty percent of the oils in an EDT fragrance will evaporate within three hours of application. Eau de Parfum (EDP): EDP is one of the most popular forms of fragrance. Eau de Parfum contains between seven to fourteen per cent of fragrance oils and perfume elixirs and is the second strongest, and longest lasting means of wearing a fine fragrance. The delicate yet bold scent opens with juicy, sparkling redcurrant and sunny, spicy bergamot. The heart opens onto a lush meadow of delicate rose and jasmine sambac before finishing on a woodsy, warm dry down of crystal moss and dusky Ambroxan. Coach is always mainly about selling concepts. "Delicate and daring" for instance; that's pretty hard for nearly anyone to achieve, but Coach apparently sees its customer as 15 years old and wanting to be seen as daring, but the fragrance has to be "delicate" enough for her mother to buy it for her. Ugh.Coach Wild Rose is inspired by Coachs prairie floral prints, a symbol of the houses free-spirited attitude. The Coach Wild Rose Eau de Parfum Spray is a floral gourmand that will make you fall in love with rose scents!” - Hannah, Escentual Beauty Team.
