I guess an important preface is that I am an Ellie Taylor fan, and not just a fan but often accidentally the same person. I've been wanting to get into reading again for a few years now but been struggling to find a book I'd enjoy. All that aside, I laughed, I cried and I finished it in a couple of days (as a mum of a 6 month old I impressed myself)! The world is full of expectations of the perfect parent who never gets angry with their children and never misses their life before parenthood - I like to read books that present that truth instead of perpetuating that madness. Despite being childless myself, I really enjoyed this account of Taylor's experiences when pregnant and her life as she adjusts to being a mother.

One of the biggest moments in Ellie’s career came in a sketch she did for The Mash Report, where she played an immaculate newsreader announcing that ‘Women everywhere have told everyone to ‘“Just f*** off.Women should not feel bad about having time apart from their children and having the audacity to enjoy it. I will and already have been recommending this to everyone I know and it should be a must read for every new mum.

She’d see me at the window of her room, her lip would quiver, tears streaming down her face with a look that said, ‘. Her clips from the show have become worldwide viral hits, notching up over one hundred million views online, and being shared by a host of celebrities including Madonna. If you really want to be entertained this is the perfect book for you - just be mindful you will be laughing out loud, so may not want to read this book on the train! Maybe a re-read at a more relevant time in my life would glean a different review, but for now, it's this one.I don’t know if I’ll end up being a mum of two or maybe stay a mum of one and owner of great t**s,’ she jokes.

Despite of not having children or not even ever being pregnant, I somehow was drawn to it and decided to give it a go. Her performance is excellent and I’d wholeheartedly recommend this to everyone who’s either expecting a child or has children! When I watch her acting or her stand up I genuinely belly laugh at the things that she has to say so I was eager to read her memoir My Child and Other Mistakes because I knew that I would be entertained. Prompted by his retirement from his full-time job in the NHS, and through his continuing work in Nepal and Ukraine, Henry has been forced to reflect more deeply about what 40 years spent handling the human brain has taught him. My Child and Other Mistakes: How to ruin your life in the best way possible is a memoir/ biography book written by stand-up comic, broadcaster and actress Ellie Taylor that takes the reader on a journey through the author’s experiences with parenthood.I felt coo-ey towards cats, not babies,’ says Ellie, 37, who plays Sassy in the wonderfully warm Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso, as well as starring in comedy shows Mock the Week and 8 Out of 10 Cats. Her work included campaigns for Matalan dressing gowns, Asda bras, Pantene shampoo and a brand of greek yogurt. I hope you realise the strength and impact of your talent to be able to simultaneously make someone laugh and fill their soul when they didn't think it was possible.

Film fans are left HORRIFIED by Dune 2 promotional popcorn bucket that looks just like a raunchy SEX TOY: 'I do not want to stick my hand in that!We also engage celebrities and media personalities for endorsements, PR campaigns and radio days, advertising campaigns and brand ambassador roles. Ryan Gosling shrugs off Barbie Oscars drama with loving kiss from daughter and support from wife Eva Mendes. During the final chapter, she was snuggled up in my arms at about 9pm, after an hour and a half of trying to settle her down into her own bed to go to sleep, and feeling zombie-like, desperate for some alone time relaxing with her dad downstairs, and willing the small monster to settle to sleep, whilst reading a beautiful account from Ellie of how all these frustrating and draining moments are so worth it for the snuggles and the joy - and I really appreciated that reminder that we are all going through the same ups and downs but that we wouldn't want to change a thing.
