Evaluation Software. This EULA does not license use of Software for evaluation purposes (“Evaluation Software”) except to the extent these terms may be invoked by the separate license terms and conditions accompanying that Evaluation Software. And not all Expression Pedals are identical - for example here is how Line-6 and Fractal expect their Expression pedals to be wired The Roland EV-5 can work in combination with other manufacturers, including Boss, so mixing and matching your current pedal board should not present a problem. Furthermore, the pedal has four rubber feet on the underside to help it stay in place, whether you’re using it on a pedalboard or just on a stage floor.

I. Provide access to the Software or allow use by any third party, other than Permitted Third Parties, without Roland's prior written consent; These are a great expression pedal. I have two, and use them to control a Strymon Timeline and BigSky respectively, and they work very well. The one issue that I would note is that the pedal sweep isn't linear, but seems to have a logarithmic sweep in my experience. This isn't much of a hindrance in terms of its functionality for me, but is something to be aware of. I note that my experience is in contrast to that of some other reviewers, so your experience may vary.

To use the FV-500H as an expression pedal, you will need an optional connection cable (stereo 1/4" TRS phone plugs at both ends)."I also noted that none of my M-audio expression pedals will work with the FC-300. I'd need to put a new pot in them to get them to work...and that's not even worth it. This is also the best expression pedal in terms of functionality. It can be used for data entry, volume control, or parameter adjustments within real-time scenarios. To put it simply, this guitar expression pedal will definitely add value to your existing line-up. For some larger items which need to be delivered upstairs - including pianos, we offer a timed delivery service using our own van and drivers. This service is free on some items and chargeable on others. Call us on 01323 639335 to discuss your specific delivery requirements. Never heard of a Roland EV-10 - but if you use a 1/4" TRS (stereo) cable it should work the same as a the Roland EV-5 Hey I'd like to caution everyone about some potential pitfalls connecting non-Roland expression pedals to the FC-300. The FC-300 is expecting a specific resistance to be presented by your expression pedal. If the pedal that you have differs from the resistance that the Roland expression pedals, then your pedal may not work properly. You may find that moving the pedal from full "heel" to "toe" position only produces a small change in parameter values in teh VG-99/FC-300, or that you get no value change from some portion of the pedal movement.

P. Use the Software to create other software, products or technologies unless the Software contains Development Tools as described in Section 6; This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is between the individual consumer or business entity that will use the Software (“You”) and Roland Corporation (“Roland”).The Roland EV-5 Expression Pedal is a foot pedal designed for use with keyboards, and other expression-compatible devices like guitar pedals. Itprovides a more dynamic and professional level of control to your performance, enabling real-time adjustments to be made with ease. Whether you play keyboard, synths, or guitar, the level of control afforded by this simple little unit is extraordinary. Transferability. You may transfer the Software on a permanent basis as part of the sale or transfer of the hardware system on which the Software is loaded, provided that You retain no copies of any version of the Software. Hello All, I have recently gone through trying to find an expression pedal that would work for my Roland VR-730. In short, I experienced the same issue as many of you have where, the pedal does not seem to work through the full travel of the pedal and in some cases also does not ever go fully to zero volume. I went through three pedals by different manufactures before I figured out why this was happening. After trial and error on my own failed, I went to the "reference" manual which you can get online from Roland and learned that for the Roland VR-730, there are four Expression Curves programmed. What I saw in the manual was that of the four curves you can choose from, none go to zero and only one has a curve that does what you might expect a "volume" control to due (smooth up and down adjustment of volume). The other three don't make much of a noticeable change for the first third and last third of the travel and this is by design of the programmed curve. So, in summary, I believe the pedals to be fine and it's the programmed expression curve in the keyboard that creates the perceived issue. Development Tools. If the Software includes development tools, such as scripting tools, APIs or sample scripts (collectively “Development Tools”), and unless there is a separate agreement between You and Roland or Roland for the Development Tools, You may use such Development Tools to create new scripts and code for the purpose of customizing Your use of the Software (within the parameters set forth in this EULA and in the Development Tools themselves) and for no other purpose.
