Our test photos looked like classic film images rather than the nearly clinical-looking photos you sometimes get from a cell phone.

If you’re looking for something a little bit different, black-and-white and experimental colour disposable cameras are certainly worth considering. Well, if you would like to try a disposable camera with flash features, there are alternatives you may easily find. Kodak’s Tri-X 400 Single-Use Flash Camera and Ilford’s HP5 Plus Single-Use Film Camera are loaded with those companies’ respective black-and-white emulsions, have built-in flashes, and are great choices that can give you slightly sharper images than our black-and-white pick. Moreover, keep in mind that you’re going to spend some extra cash to get it to the lab and developed. With a history of black-and-white film production that spans over 100 years, you can’t go wrong with Ilford’s XP2 Super Single Use Camera.

The Daylight camera has a precision, high-quality lens with a focal length of 1 meter to infinity to give you clear, sharp pictures. When it comes to Kodak Daylight 800 specification, as its name the camera has ISO of 800 with C-41 development. This amount includes seller specified domestic postage charges as well as applicable international postage, dispatch, and other fees. In your heart you know that you probably just caught the essence of your family and friends, and the image you made will live on to commemorate that brief instant in time.

Furthermore, both Fujifilm and Kodak have programs to recycle the cameras after they’ve been developed. Alternatively, you can post your camera off to Take It Easy Lab, Analogue Wonderland or Harrison Cameras. I was curious to scan them on my Epson… but let’s say the results and image quality was slightly different. Personally, I do not find the lack of flash feature as a flaw because I am not a huge fan of flashes from film cameras. The flashes on disposable cameras don’t reach all that far, and they can make the subjects closer to the camera brighter than those farther away, but they do a decent job even in dark conditions like this evening event. The service we used for processing, The Darkroom, notes on its page about disposable cameras that it recycles the cameras it processes. Warning of Electrical Shock - some disposable cameras contain a flash which can have high voltages and give you a painful, and possibly life threatening shock.

We use Royal Mail for the majority of our consignments aside from large and oversized items which many come via an alternative carrier. If you shot images on your iPhone, you probably used an app to adjust the colors and exposure to make your images presentable.Based on personal experience, I can conclude that Kodak Daylight 800 is still very usable when you’re shooting films indoor as long as you’ve got plenty natural light or adequate light in general. In our tests, both of these cameras produced images that were as good as what we could expect from this type of camera and film combination. Even for seasoned photographers, they offer a rather simple way of photography – but with many creative experiences along the way.
