Installation is straightforward, though at one point you do have to hold the cooler in-place upside-down while tightening the four screws. Of course that features the Hive Fin structure, Jet Fin Acceleration System and asymmetrical fins stack combined with Quad Air Inlet provided by the fan. Credit is provided by Novuna Personal Finance, a trading style of Mitsubishi HC Capital (UK) PLC, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Based on the original QF120 series the QF120 LED features white LED lighting as well as all of the existing features from the QF series including: Quad Air Inlet™ for added air intake, ultra wide PWM RPM range, integrated Acoustic Absorbers and HPLN™ bearing. The Bottom Line: While not a chart topper, the Cryorig H7 handles its business in a compact, Zero-Interference design, and does it well.I already have the cooler ready to be tested and reviewed and I am really curious about the performance of this product while cooling my AMD A8-5600K processor at default, a bit overclocked, a bit more overclocked and even more overclocked frequencies.

Recently, Cryorig delivered one of the most impressive designs that we have seen in some time, the Cryorig H7.That being said, I do think the H7 is very good-looking – it has a svelte black top, while the heatpipes have also been covered to make sure there is no unsightly copper on-show. The H7 Quad Lumi is actually an improved version of the award winning H7 CPU Air Cooler CRYORIG released a while back featuring one additional nickel-plated heatpipe (according to CRYORIG this offers a 15% cooling efficiency improvement), LED lighting and support for the LGA 2011 platform by Intel. We have been around long enough to see many of the tricks used to boost the design of a tower cooler, but we have never seen anything along the lines of what Cryorig is offering here. In addition to the usual effects such as Breathing, it can also be used to adjust reactive effects that react to changes in temperature, for example. Cryorig H7 is manufactured with a perfectly milled C1100 pure copper with silver nickel coating contact plate with dimensions of 40 x 45 mm holding in line the 3 x Ø6mm nickel coated copper heat pipes arranged according to the Convex-Align™ system.

After all, no matter how many fans are added there are only 3 heatpipes, which in this case really matters. Pay in 3 is a form of credit, may not be suitable for everyone and use may affect your credit score. At the same time, Cryorig attaches great importance to making the installation of its CPU coolers as easy as possible. The QF120 fan has an exceptionally quiet bearing, so the noise level of the entire cooler is as low as 25 dB (A). With the fan receiving more voltage, and reporting a speed of 1600 RPM, the noise level does increase to 50 dB, but as you can see, there are much worse coolers out there. Placing a couple of thumbscrews on the base shows the level of polishing on the base, or lack thereof in this instance.

And to improve the overall aesthetic of the cooler, the guys from Cryorig added a 41st fin, which is much thicker, made of plastic and is entirely in black located on top of the fins stack. By checking all of the accessories, I can say that every single part of this package is carefully chosen so the cooler can deliver maximum compatibility and a lot of options. Color change, lighting effects and even Fan RPM and profile settings are all capable through CAM software and app.I have never replaced a CPU cooler before up until now, but from what I've experienced so far, it's been a resounding success, even after only a tiny handful of the youtube tutorials I watched while preparing did what I wanted to do and installed it while the motherboard was still in the case. Of course this was done because at the time of its release CRYORIG didn't have an RGB fan (that should change in a month or so) but as you will see later on this fan/LED strip combination (adjustable by an NZXT CAM controller built-in the cooler - CRYORIG should release their very own solution soon) looks very nice. While installation is not impossible to accomplish solo, this does leave you open to potential slips of the screwdriver and potential damage to the motherboard, or even worse, the potential of somehow dropping the motherboard all together. Cryorig H7 was officially announced back in January 2015 and was actually the smallest single tower cooler in the company portfolio at that time. I also would like to see an RGB fan included here instead of a white LED fan for better synchronization.
